“A really good place to stay”

It was easy to manager the temperature in the room. The bed in my room was like I like it; witha fairly hard mattress. I did not meet anyone of the staff, due to my travelling times, but it was very convenient contact by email was possible. I will not hesitate to return, in case needed. I have passed my experience to friends living nearby. In case they ever need a bed nearby.

Very good contact with the friendly owner even if I arrived late and left early. The room was super pleasant to stay in, the bed very comfortable. There was a fridge, kettle, microwave and coffee machine - all you could need. Everything was clean and aesthetic.

“Great place to base yourself for the Ardennes”

Quiet location, with local supermarket across the road for all your needs. Less than 10min walk to the rail station to reach Charleroi and Namur easily and other places with a change. Microwave, tea/coffee and fridge provided, so perfect if you don't want to eat out all the time. Near the river Sambre if you fancy a walk along it. Close to the beautiful Ardennes.

“Comfortable, friendly and value for money hotel”

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable and great value for money. The Thai restaurant serves delicious meals. I enjoyed my stay even though it was a business trip.

“Small cozy hotel with amazing restaurant”

The hotel is located fairly close to a train station. We didn't want to use the car everyday and this was very convenient. The rooms are small, but big enough for 2 people. Beds were very comfy. The restaurant downstairs is simply AMAZING! Delightful Thai cuisine and the service was great. We wish we would've had the opportunity to dine there more than once. (If you do end up wanting to eat there, make sure to set reservations as it was full most of the nights we were there.) An optional breakfast is served for 10 Euros per person per morning. You have to let them know in advance how many people will be eating and at what time. I personally ate there every morning because it felt like great value. There was some baguette, croissants, pastry, cheeses, eggs, etc... with some orange juice and coffee/tea. The breakfasts were generous and tasty every morning. Last but not least, the staff is friendly and serviceable.

“So much better than an airport hotel”

We decided to use this hotel as an alternative to the (somewhat soul-less) Charlerois airport hotels. It is only a 15 minute drive from the airport and contrary toe Charleroi city centre, parking is free here. Our room looked good and clean. The shower was nice and so was our breakfast. Auvelais is a small town, but there are several restaurants to choose from. All in all, we had a nice and comfortable night here.

The town is quiet and nice. The lady that is in charge of the property was responsive and quick to help us fix one of the issues with the shower, that being the reason for giving it a 6.

Excellent Thai restaurant linked to the hotel. The hotel was also very understanding when we had to cut our stay short after the first night because of a problem at home.
