Lovely welcome in the family home. 6 bedrooms upstairs, with a shared bathroom (just one shower, but we didn't have to wait too long for our turn) and an extra toilet downstairs. Also a small kitchen to use was very handy. Lovely view over the lake from the veranda.

We had a lovely stay here - really comfy and cosy place with everything you need. We had a little kitchen which was super handy, and the hosts were so lovely, kind and welcoming, even let us check in a bit later as we’d been travelling a long way. Beds were super comfortable, and you can order breakfast too if you fancy it. It’s a peaceful little village with a nice balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Highly recommend!

It is an old house but quite big on 4 floors. Room ok. We had to share the bathroom and the kitchen with other 5 or 6 rooms. We were lucky as the owner told us to use the toilet in the basement. The kitchen is equipped but only for 4 people at a time. If all the rooms are occupied, we are not sure how it can be managed. A fridge is available for the guests. Parking on site. Nothing in the area. Good for a walk around the small lake

Very clean rooms and toilets and kitchen and bedsheets. Good spaces like kitchen, living room, bathrooms, terrace. Friendly staff. Good premade breakfast that you can prepare in the kitchen. You make your coffee with Mocca master and cook your eggs. Ingredients cost 11 €. This was like living at home. Perfect place to stay.

We were with 10 ppl and it is not easy to find suitable accommodation, but Josygaard was very comfortable. The hostess warmly welcomed us and was available for questions at all times It felt like home for 2 days! We were allowed to use the boat as well.

The stay is tucked away overlooking a lake only a minute or two from the highway. Quiet and peaceful it was an ideal stop over on the way to or from Bergen. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Would book again if we were travelling in this area.

The placement of this house was nice, quiet and relaxing. Kitchen nicely equipped and balcony awsome. Bathroom always clean! How refreshing after some of our stays. The owner was helpful and really nice.
