Had an awesome stay at Funk Monk Villa! Rooms were super clean and cozy. It's a chill spot near Auroville, away from the city buzz. You can book the whole place or just a room, which is cool for any crew – friends, fam, or couples. Big shoutout to Krishna and Jitu – they made us feel right at home. If you want a laid-back getaway with friendly vibes and close to Auroville, Funk Monk Villa is the spot. Can't wait to go back!

“Not happy”
I booked for a/c room they have given non a/c room for the same price. Power was on and off for long time and no power back up. Place us also secluded and not advisable for females.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They also helped us a lot with problems and questions beyond the hostel stay. If I come back to the region I will choose this hostel again

It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there near auroville .Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner krishna bhai.Staff was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy fusion of north indian and south indian by amma recipe . Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience....like a old heritage property authentic south indian structure I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you krishna bhai for being a nice host.

The location of homestay is very beautiful. Nice ambience. Good hospitality by the host krishna with very delicious food(ghar ki yaad aagayi yaar), comfy beds.....with spacious rooms I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this peaceful place again. Awesome host with amazing hospitality....nice homely place ......good food .....easy connectivity ......nice budget friendly room with ac ....only 5 mins ride from visitors centre auroville Krishna helped me a lot for making my trip memorable....rooms are old constructed but clean and hygenic
