Overview
In an Alpine valley on the edge of the Sesto Dolomites, family-run Al Sole Hotel is 4 km from the centre of Auronzo di Cadore. It offers free bike hire and a children’s play area. Just 1 km away is the Monte Agudo ski area, which in summer hosts one of the world’s longest fun bob tracks. The 3 Peaks of Lavaredo are 8 km across the slopes, and Misurina is 21 km by road. Each room has a flat-screen TV with free SKY channels. Breakfast is a buffet with cold meats, cheeses and cakes. The traditional restaurant serves local dishes and homemade desserts. Hot and cold drinks are served at the bar throughout the day. Hotel al Sole is 22 km from Pieve di Cadore and a 70-minute drive from Belluno. A free parking garage is available.

“Good hotel for short stay”
We spent 2 nights in the hotel. Room was comfortable and we could eat good dinner in the evening. Breakfast was also sufficient to start your day well. Location was okay, it is not very close to lake in Auronzo, but convenient to leave with car for a hike. There are not that many restaurants in the city if you fancy something else than pizza, but of course you can find some place.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, and the room was even better with a large round bed and lovely Italian shower head with different settings.. All very modern and tasteful. Great location, not far from Tre Cime Misurina, and nice base to walk up to the lago Sorapis the quiet, if a little harder way from Valbona. Fantastic breakfast with nuts, fruits, apple strudel, eggs, bacon, donuts etc. All very good indeed. Highly recommended.

“LOVELY!”
Looks like family owned business and the couple were really nice and kind! We had a pretty short stay and left very early and they were kind enough to pack us some breakie to go. They serve dinner too which is just 30 euro for course meal and it was awesome!!
