Skahjem gard is located in a beautiful, quiet location just a few minutes away from Flom. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it for families, couples or group of friends.

“Wonderful views, comfortable apartment and lovely garden area.”
This was a comfortable small apartment, with a fan provided, which came in very handy in the warm weather. The views surrounding the property were spectacular and the outside garden area was lovely to have an evening drink in. The young lady who welcomed us was friendly and helpful The only thing that we would change would be one double bed instead of two single beds pushed together.

Really tranquil setting - we felt relaxed right away. Lovely gardens set in an incredible landscape. The apartment was simple but well equipped, and much bigger than it looks in the photos. We stayed during a heatwave so were very grateful for the fan! Beds were comfy. Staff were super warm and friendly. The waterfall that is a 1km walk away was our favourite, and we saw lots! Perfect for taking a boat trip along the Nærøyfjord. Temperatures in the 30s prevented us from doing any strenuous hikes, but there are plenty of great trails nearby. We will have to come back!l

We had a lovely time at Skahjem Gard! The owners were very friendly and the place itself was exactly what we had expected. Just 10 min drive away from the Flam Railway and the Fjord cruise meeting point and you’re surrounded by nature. Had a great time and would really recommend!

“Clean , natural , good location”
I really liked the facility. It was very clean and just 2 kilometers from Aurland, making the location quite convenient.Also very close to Flam as well. Our room was also very nice. The only downside for me was the lack of an electrical outlet in the bathroom, as I needed a mirror while doing my hair with my own hair dryer. The staff were very polite. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. We rented a car and Skahjem Gard have free parking which is great for us.
