“Really nice Chateau living”

Really nice place. Family owned Chateau in the South of France in a very small but cosy mountain village. Wonderful village square where people meet to drink a Pastis and play Boules. Really authentic French living and only a few french tourists, apart from us. The Chateau had spacious rooms, decorated to match the Chateau. The family was really nice, giving us good advice as to where to eat locally and what to see. Also a nice pool area. Be aware that you need a car, as it is a bit remote.

“Great location, a simple bed&breakfast”

The location is very charming. The Chateau is located in a little village amidst the southern Cevenne mountains. It has been beautifully restored and was furnished with antique furniture and decorated with paintings and Asian artifacts.

This is a lovely place to stay, spacious and beautifully decorated, quiet and with expansive views of the hills and village. We were made very welcome by Didier and Murielle and enjoyed the breakfasts. We also appreciated Didier’s visit recommendations.

“Just perfect”

What a location, what a fantastic place to stay. A beautiful secluded Chateau in a perfect village. Didier was the perfect host, lots of local knowledge and described the fascinating history of the Chateau. The bedroom was beautiful, luxurious bed linen and a wonderful deep bathtub. On our 10 night road trip through France, this was the highlight.

“Unique, stunning, perfect!”

Situated in a quaint little village the chateau is absolutely stunning. The owner, Didier, was so welcoming too. I cannot put into words how beautiful this place is, from the sympathetically renovated house to the warm pool, serene grounds and picture perfect view from the room. Didier is clearly a guru when it comes to interior design and his passion is obvious. It's so bespoke and unique and everything is finished to the very highest standard. We stayed at other lovely places but this was by far the highlight of our month long trip. Thanks again Didier, we hope we will be back one day.

The location of the castle is beautiful. The castle itself is 1000 years old but has been tastefully renovated and the hosts are very nice and fascinating people

Amazing stay with Didier. You can't be disappointed. The atmosphere in the village is the best you feel very welcome by the locals. The village is truly authentic and the surroundings beautiful.

A quite lovely petit chateau, beautifully done, beautiful views, and charming hosts in Didier and Murielle. Didier gave us a potted history of the chateau and its original owners, fascinating, and both of them offered much helpful local information. We loved it all.

Oh my God !!! … unbelievably good. Imagine your dream stay … then times it by 2 !!! No restaurant or bar .. however .. during the summer months the village 5 min walk away has a pop up restaurant + bar + takeaway pizza. The villagers are open and friendly plus food is all local and produce cooked to high standard. Secure parking

“Fabulous!”

A beautiful Chateau beautifully restored to exceptionally high standard and a great backdrop to show the wonderful collection of treasures Didier has acquired over his lifetime. The apricot tarte freshly made for breakfast was superb. Quiet location in small village. We strongly hope we can return for another visit but for longer than one night!

Beautiful castle in a stunning location. Our room was amazing, really big and very clean. We had a very relaxed and comfortable stay at the chateau!

“Stunning”

The chateau is beautiful and beautifully situated in a village of character with great hiking straight from the door. Didier is an attentive and helpful host. The decor is superb and clearly has had much time,money and effort applied to achieving a wonderful ambience. The bed is huge and very comfortable and the seating area is equally comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully prepared and set us up for long days on the trails.

“Fairy tales come true”

Late in the season we were hosted by the knight himself in his very own castle. A dream come true with exceptionally tasteful mix of modern facilities decorated with old artifacs and all set in a fully restorated, medieval limestone building. Wonderful breakfast, topped with homemade jam and cake. Each day subtly different. And every morning we discussed plans for the day with our host who helped us pick the most scenic hikes and most authentic dinner options.

“FABULOUS ‘Fairytale’ Castle in peaceful countryside”

What a FABULOUS ‘gem’ of a find this was (on booking.com). 5* accommodation in our opinion. We had a lovely welcome from the host to his ABSOLUTELY STUNNING home; a small castle in the quiet countryside. Probably one of the nicest places we have ever stayed - we felt like a ‘king & queen’ with our own swimming pool too! Immaculately clean with simply stunning interior design and furnishings. Huge bedroom with jacuzzi bath. We were served a wonderful continental breakfast on the terrace by the host (we were the only guests) and not a sound could be heard. So peaceful. WONDERFUL accommodation- We’d love to return one day- THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY STAY.
