“The most relaxing stay, in a charming slightly rustic little gem of a Studio. A return visit planned”

Perfect location, close to town and beautiful walks along the river, to Flat Rock in one direction and to central town in the other direction. The Studio had everything you could possibly need for a couple, with a large bedroom and large bathroom, and a great secure garden for the fur baby. We were there during a storm, with a power outage for over 24 hours but there were camping lamps, a gas cook stove and plenty of candles, which made it fun, along with our own backgammon, it added a special atmosphere to our stay. The pub is within walking distance, along with cafes and a grocery store. Our Host, Nakita was so helpful, providing extra wood for the small fire, which saw us through the power outage. The wood stove was amazing, it was small but we had it stoked up and were able to cook a casserole on the top plate easily. All towels and linen were provided. The only downside was the internet was a bit intermittent and we had to use our hotspot to access any TV (when power was available, that is). Netflix, Stan etc all preloaded on the tv. This place is a gem and perfect couples retreat. We loved it. Thanks Nakita. 😊

The decor and colours, the rustic old fashioned window louvres the bathroom is gorgeous, and the river just across the road within arm's reach of the flat rock trails. Can even see some of the river from the studio. I do wish I had brought some art to do. Nikita was very welcoming

I really enjoyed visiting Blackwood River Art Studio because the whole property was just as beautiful as the artwork itself. The house had such a warm, charming feel, and being surrounded by nature along the river made it incredibly peaceful. It felt like a true escape, where the setting, the home, and the art all blended together to create a really special and relaxing experience.

We loved this well presented studio apartment. It was very comfortable, and only a short walk to the river.

Loved how the doors fully opened near the lounge, the bath and shower were amazing with plenty of towels. The bed and couch were very comfortable, and the property was very clean. Loved the rustic warm design of the property, so many interesting features. Fabulous presentation on arrival, quiet peaceful location. Good size yard for my dogs to explore. Lovely views of river across the road. Very close to local shops and beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, could have stayed longer. Nikita was very responsive, friendly, helpful and accommodating.

It was very comfortable and clean, everything was there we needed. We loved the bath, pats from dog, being so close to boat ramp for our kayaks and close to town and the view. It was very peaceful and relaxing loved the birdlife.

Our host was amazing very friendly and obliging. The studio had a Lovely comfortable bed, huge bathroom with lovely deep bath and amenities were supplied. Very cozy and clean studio, with views of the river which was across the road. Only a couple of minutes from the town Centre. Was a very relaxing break and would highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Also included a lovely fenced and secure area for our dog.

Nice view onto the river, comfortable bed, beautiful spacious bathroom and nice products. I felt like we were at home, no motel odours. Super clean. One of my favourite accommodations I’ve stayed in. I’ll definitely stay again on a return visit to Augusta. Gorgeous wildflower walk at the end of the street .

The place is beautiful, comfortable bed, big kitchen and an enormous bath.

I really liked the use of the Stand up paddle board and kayaks. Close and easy to get to the river. The two dolphins and the two babies swimming alongside ,while paddle boarding made a very memorable experience.

A lovely comfortable space. The bathroom was fabulous and lots of small touches included to make you feel welcome, Our host offered us space to store our bikes as it was very wet when we were there. Firewood supplied and it was really cosy as it was cold. The beds were comfy too.
