This traditional 4-star Superior hotel is located in the centre of the historic Saxon mining town of Aue. It offers a daily breakfast buffet, free parking, 2 restaurants and a spa. The Hotel Blauer Engel dates from 1663. All rooms are elegantly furnished and feature free high-speed internet. The Tausendgüldenstube and St. Andreas restaurants serve Saxon, Bohemian and Mediterranean specialities. Saxon and international wines are available in the historic wine tavern. “Lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great restaurant”
Comfy rooms, spotlessly clean and a wide selection of breakfast food. As a frequent visitor this year I got an upgrade to a suite, which was very nice and very much appreciated.

Very elegant hotel, so clean, spacious rooms and staff is extremely nice. Breakfast is excellent, just as the serving. Good location, easy to find, exactly in the center.

“Gourmet restaurants and great hotel for leisure”
Restaurants are fantastic and should not be missed. Sauna is very nice and the access charge even includes a high quality fruit plate. Overall the property has a very high standard and excellent value for money!
