It was such a pleasure staying here, the place was immaculate and looked just the same as the photos. Louis and Marie were so helpful and seemed to have thought of everything a guest would need. It was only a 10 minute walk to shops and cafés and also to Long Bay beach (note it is a very steep walk down to the beach). We would highly recommend it.

We have stayed here before and it is a perfect base for visiting in and around Auckland. It is equipped wigh everthing a travellor needs. It's the lovely touches like coffee, washing powder, tea etc. Marie and Louis are very good hosts. Long beach is a very short walk and there are plenty of shops in Torbay.

Location,view, having everything we needed. The little bits like 4 towles and extra bath mat and hand towles. Being close to town but super peaceful.

We are from the UK , our son and his family live about 5 minutes drive away, so the position was perfect. There are also shops and a very good cafe a couple of minutes drive away. Close at hand is lovely town of Browns bay and a little further afield the City of Auckland. I can’t fault this property, everything you could want and is spotlessly clean. Perfect hosts Louis and Marie. I can’t recommend this property highly enough, We will definitely be using them again on our next trip to New Zealand.

The location was very private, facilities were excellent. We went by the excellent ratings, and were pleasantly surprised - easily the best place we stayed in during our Auckland trip.

This is my second stay here, I can’t speak highly enough of it! There is nothing you could want for in this property. It is the most well thought out place I have ever stayed at. It is beautiful from the perspective of the vista of the trees and town and beautifully designed as well. The kitchen has all you could want for cooking and the large living space and big tv is a pleasure to dwell in. The bed feels luxurious and is so comfortable - I had the best sleeps here! The bonus is the bathroom with the heated floors and the bath! Marie and Louis are the most incredible hosts and I can’t wait to stay here again!

Most beautiful 'villa' with the kindest exceptional hosts and luxurious facilities. Comfortable bed and pillows. Exquisite bathroom with underfloor heating. Felt like an exquisite 5-star hotel. Highly recommended.

Its a stunning cottage set up on a slope with views of the treetops. With the little touches from Africa that gave vibrancy and colour and the clean white walls it felt like a game lodge.
