The Partchery offers a fantastic stay in a compact but very comfortable and tastefully curated space. Our two nights at this property were thoroughly enjoyed. Communication with the hosts and retreival of keys were easy. Wendy was warm, very welcoming and respectful of our privacy. Everything in this place has been thoughtfully provided. The treats and homemade goodies were an extra kindness that we really appreciated. Seeing the Tui birds from the bedroom window and out in the private little courtyard was a lovely way to start the day. The beach is only an 8-10 minute walk away and the Devonport shopping strip (replete with choice eateries, and highly recommended) is only a short drive away - or approx. 25 mins on foot, if you prefer walking. The ferry to the centre of Auckland is on the Devonport Wharf and a fabulous way to make your way into the city's centre. The Partchery provided all that we needed to make our stay a memorable one. Everything was wonderful, a perfect end to a long trip. The fruit and sweet treats were lovely. Proper sized bath sheets!! Everything you could possibly want is there, and good quality. Easy walking or bus to great swimmjng beach. I would recommend The Partchery to anyone and hope I can return one day.

Breakfast was lovely - delish fresh fruit salad and crossoints plus some tasty home cooking. Awesome coffee machine and filtered tap water - absolute bonus. It’s spacious and did I mention soooo clean - very very much appreciated Wendy and Mike who are clearly passionate about hosting.

Welcoming host who shared great local knowledge, delicious homemade treats and a delightful little garden. The studio is very well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Its setting is serene and private, yet within easy reach of the city. Ferry, supermarket, restaurants etc are within walking distance or excellent bus service - no need for a car.

Super friendly hosts. It was a perfect place to stay. Everything you could need was there, plus a few little extras. It was a fantastic stay.

This was by far the best accommodation we had during our visit to New Zealand. Everything was exceptional!! Wendy was friendly and informative. The accommodation had all the best appliances and kitchenware, everything we needed including a washing machine at no additional cost. It was immaculate and far exceeded our expectations. It was private and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Partchery Devonport. Added bonus the photos, artwork and patchwork was beautiful.

This has definitely been the best accommodation I have stayed. The host also had my home flag raised at the entrance, and gave me a tour of the surrounding area of Devonport. Exceptional.

Wendy is an absolutely fantastic host! I felt right at home. The house is equipped with every possible comfort to make your stay enjoyable, tastefully furnished and embellished with Wendy's patchwork quilts. The location is excellent: very close to the beach and a walk from the center of Devonport. Perfectly quiet at night, with the pleasant sound of birds singing during the day. In addition, Wendy and Mike's courtesy and kindness made our stay wonderful. I really miss it!

The apartment is extremely well equipped with quality items. It has a cosy atmosphere and is very private and quiet. There is a bus stop close by which you can catch to Devonport and the Ferry or Takapuna.

Charming, extremely well appointed; home away from home. Great location near some great beaches on the North Shore. Lovely to find generous breakfast supplies, including Nespresso coffee, and home baked treats. Especially after a day of travel. Lovely to wake up to native tui birdsong.
