Roy and Heather were exceptional hosts with a fabulous, interesting life and house full of beautiful art deco treasures and Heathers award winning Teddy Bears.

“Fantastic stay”

This review is a little late, but that does not reflect how we feel about our stay. It was wonderful! You have the whole place to yourself (you don’t have to share with other guests, that is) which basically means you have your bedroom with en suite bathroom ánd a living room! You do share the rooms with a couple of teddy bears though, which we found delightful. Breakfast is simple but very good and Helen and Roy are the greatest hosts and interesting people - we really enjoyed our chats and as we fell deeply in love with New Zealand, we will be back!

Beautiful home, you can feel a lot of love and care has been put into the place. Lovely hosts and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, wish we could have stayed longer and we plan on coming back again.

Best ever B&B, just superb! The hosts Heather & Roy were just so friendly and helpful. The facilities and attention to detail throughout were exceptional. If we visit Auckland again we will certainly want to stay there. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Beds were super comfortable- quiet neighbourhood - excelllent breakfast with cereal, fruit, yoghurt and coffee/tea. Very obliging hosts - could not fault this place

Enjoyed all aspects of our stay - both Heather and Roy made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble - they were very knowledgable about the area and things of interest. They also provided local bus top-up cards which meant we didn’t need to use our car during the stay. The whole stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

“Don’t have any second thoughts just go, you won’t regret it”

Everything. It was exactly like in the pictures. It was in a nice and quiet area but still within walking distance to restaurants, bus stops and Mount Eden. It was great to start the day with a nice breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, toast and just the perfect cappuccino and not having to go out for it. Tipps were to go and how to get there. Heather and Roy really make you feel welcome. It’s home away from home and for us it was the perfect start for traveling New Zealand.
