“Fabulous return visit”

The property is ideally situated close to the beach, bus stop into the city and local shops, bars and cafes. The apartment is a good size for a couple offering all expected amenities including stocked larder and fabulous cooked breakfast ingredients when we arrived. As we stayed at the start of winter the cosy dressing gowns were ideal. Fab sun trap from both patio and lounge we enjoyed watching and listening to the wild birds.

The property was super cozy and quiet. It sits right behind the hosts home, so you definitely have your own space. You get to have both views of buildings and a little bit of the sea. Apartment had all you needed: Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry essentials. Town was very easy to get to. And the seaside was down the road. We appreciated chatting with their family as well.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable, quiet, roomy, well equipped, great breakfast items provided, with a lovely outside deck to sit out on. Cathy was very welcoming with great communication. It was an easy walk down to the beach area.

Great location 2mins walk to beach. Clean, Lovely outside area. Hosts were excellent with lovely extras provided (cookies, eggs, plus more) plus lots off condiments so easy to cook at home. Lovely area

Fab place to stay, had everything we needed

Communication with the host, Cathy, was excellent, even before our arrival. We had a request for a late checkout, which was granted. The apartment is in excellent location in St. Heliers. Close to the beach, restaurants and public transport. There is everything you need, and more, in the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Functional bathroom. Even bathrobes provided. Breakfast is usually provided too, but we had our own supplies. Comfortable bed. Heaters provided. Quiet location.

Very well appointed spacious apartment that had everything you needed and a lovely outlook. We enjoyed the full breakfast that was provided for you to cook as well as other pantry staples. The location was convenient to the city with a bus running frequently at the bottom of the street which was steep.

Great location, 5 mins walk to beach and eateries. Private entrance, nice garden to use, owners thought of everything you’d need. Fabulous breakfast provided which was a nice surprise. Great communication.

Cathy and Graham, the hosts were lovely and welcoming. Good communication prior to arrival. The self-contained apartment had everything you needed for a short or longer stay. Access to your own garden space for chilling and eating. Lots of unexpected extras, fruit, refreshments, bread, butter, jam/marmalade, yoghurt, bacon, fresh eggs from the chucks, and tomatoes from the veg patch. The bedroom was big with plenty of storage. Bathrobes and slippers provided if needed. Bathroom facilities good. The open-plan living area is nice and airy. Quiet location in St Heliers, which we loved. Short walk to the beach and eateries, including a 4 square supermarket. Bus service to the centre was a short journey and very cheap. The buses only accept card/pass payments, no cash. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely hosts and a very roomy apartment in a nice and quiet setting, We only stayed 1 night but if you were looking for a longer stay it would have been no problem as everything was provided including laundry area.

The host is a wonderful person, breakfast is good and the area is very quiet. I felt at home.

Great accomodation,, spacious and clean. Breakfast in fridge for first morning great. Great location buses to auckland every 15 minutes from bottom of road. Nice outdoor space to sit in and use of the veg garden if needed. Cath and Graham great hosts very helpful with local info if required.. Would definitly use again rather than stay in auckland.

“A quiet treasure”

This is an absolute gem! Loved it from the moment we walked in. Everything we could wish for - general ambience, freshness. facilities (including laundry), space, garden, outdoor area, lovely hosts, comfy bed, lovely residential area close to an eating strip along the beach front. Easy run by car into Auckland city for exploring (or business). Would have loved to stay longer - we will next time! Highly recommended.
