“Welcoming and practical”
Individual light, plug and curtain on each bed were nice for privacy. Beds were comfy ! The staff was really helpful and friendly + they send some activities to do in Auckland everyday. I’ve met great people in the hostel and it was nice for the beginning of my travels in NZ.

“it's a good place trust me”
Jamie was the staff I met and I thought he does a good job. My experience was very impressive and I thought Jamie genuinely likes to help people and he's not doing it just like a job. I think it was very clean and not just cleaner than I expected but really well taken care of. Is a safe clean and decent place with good staff and that's what people want Thus for a K road property which is at the edge, you are doing well in ratings. The small door helps, the cameras are well placed and it's a good place thus I give it 10 on booking

“after 2 months in the haka house kr”
The kitchen is clean and tidy, nobody steals anything, and it's cleaned every day. The rooms are also given a quick daily cleaning. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's a good place. I don't have photos, but I meet a lot of good people there.

“Overpriced for what it is.”
I had a room with private bathroom. Mattress not good. Very noisy despite looking onto the alley. Take ear plugs. Or better still, pay extra and stay somewhere else and sleep better. The photos on the website make it look better than it is.
