“An exceptional stay in a historical castle.”
Unique opportunity to stay in a historical castle. Despite the age of the building the rooms and facilities are clean and very well maintained with all the necessary equipment. The rooms are large. Friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast complete an exceptional experience.

“Beautiful hotel in an amazing setting”
A wonderful location and amazing buildings with sumptuous bedrooms and top quality bathrooms. There are many buildings onsite including a restaurant and bar but the bar was not open when we visited.

“A delight to stay there!”
The Hotel enjoys a stunning location, but off the beaten track. Its setting above a Attendorn is a delight, bur accessed by a winding road well worth the journey. It is in a genuine castle (Burg). Our room was large and airy, well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable and spacious. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Meals taken in the hotel were of good quality and of generous proportions. A delight to stay there!

The accommodation was excellent and the dinner and breakfast were both superb. The public rooms are all beautiful and perfectly in period. The staff were friendly and efficient. We only stayed the one night but would love to come back for a longer period.

“Fabulous place to escape busy life”
What a fabulous place! A real castle full of old paintings, nice rooms, Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast and fantastic restaurant. Our dogs loved it too. Great walks round the castle grounds.

“Impressing hotel at a very cool location!”
Very interesting hotel inside a original castle from the time around 1250. The staff is really helpful and very friendly. The room was very big and provided that "castle" feeling, very cool! the bath room was very modern, and sparkling clean! The hotel has its own restaurant and the food there was delicious.
