Fantastic property with a pool and a great sunset view. Eva is an amazing host who makes a huge effort to help you have the best experience. The house is fully equipped with a living room, dining and kitchen and all amenities. One of the bedrooms has a beautiful balcony which sunset views. And, it has a pool too

“nice and clean but very remote”

house clean & modern - for the ones that need dark in the bedroom to sleep, if you are careful on with how the blinds work, you will have a dark room - we appreciated this. you can park the car in the yard. wonderful view on the back of the house, to the ocean

“A suggested location for our one week holiday in Crete western area”

A great house on the hills near to Retimno, full comfort for four people, fresh (and in those days temperatures were very high) and with a comfortable pool also if of reduced size. The house is fully equipped and we were able also to have our breakfast and some dinner by cooking. Two bath rooms both with shower. Bedroom with excellent beds and of reasonable size, one equipped with a balcony. Near the pool we found table with seats and four sun loungers.

Staying at the villa in Crete was an absolute dream. The serene and tranquil surroundings made for a perfect getaway. The villa itself was immaculate, with a spacious parking area, a pristine swimming pool, and a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Privacy was paramount, and the reality matched the stunning photos online. A huge shoutout to our host, Eva, whose responsiveness and genuine care truly elevated our experience. Without a doubt, this was our best stay in Crete, and we’re incredibly grateful for the memories created here.

“Mini Greek Odyssey”

We enjoyed the venetian village. It's a 2 minute walk to the loval taverna and 6mins from a few more. The villa was spotless and Eva the owner is delightful. The views are stunning both mountain and sea!

Everything. Perfect semi-rural location on edge of village but close to restaurants and town. Beautifully decorated and fantastic pool. Views from villa beautiful. Lovely, welcoming hosts who left a welcome basket. Great air conditioning. Loved it. Perfect for exploring Crete, especially for heading to the southern coast.

Quiet location, 5 min walk to village shop. Feel like a local not a tourist ! I would say a car is essential but excellent central location for all of Crete, whether you want beach, mountain or cultural sites. Loved Crete in April, warm, green and quiet, no queues and crowds, perfect for us.

“Really First Class”

A recently refurbished house with a wonderful view across the bay. it is particularly beautiful in the evening before sunset. There is a stunning private pool and tiled patio. Difficult to describe how good this place is without sounding like I’m advertising it but it was one of the best places I’ve stayed at in Greece. it is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. there is on site parking too. The owners have made a real effort to make this a great holiday home. It has an enormous TV with nearly every European station and a good on demand service in multiple languages. There was some welcome refreshments in the fridge on arrival and a large bowl of fresh fruit including freshly picked lemons. There are several good supermarkets, bakeries and butchers close by. There are some restaurants in the village too. It’s a good spot for touring by car because it’s close to a junction on the national road and you can head into the mountains and reach the south quite easily from here too. There are some very extensive beaches on the coast here that are accessible with easy parking. We spent a week exploring the archeological sites and loved every minute of it.

The stay at was perfect. Eva and Giannis a really frindly hosts. They Welcome us warmly a let us feel at Home in the big renovated house. Good Location to plan Trips around the Island, close to rethymno and a stunning View to the sea and the White Mountains. We can absolutely recommend Haroupia Home!

Ginannis’ and Evá´s house is a little piece of heaven. Beautiful place with an absolute silence. the pool is amazing with seaview. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for everything!

“Just a piece of paradise ❤️”

The house is very good furnished, decorated, maintained, you have there everything you need for a super relaxing holiday. There are plenty of kitchenette, everything needed for cooking is provided. The place is even better as shown in the pictures. The view from the terrace and the pool to the sea and the area is spectacular. The pool is a little bit small, but very functional, very clean and the water temperature was always pleasant for swimming. There is a large private parking space in the property. The area is very quite, picturesque, with easy access to the main road, in 10 minutes by car to the beautiful old town of Rethymno. The hosts Giannis and Eva are very nice, the communication with them was very easy, it is obvious they have thought of every single details in the property and do their best to make the guest feel like home. Upon our arriving some fresh fruits and drinks expected us, tea, coffee etc. were also available. After a few days when cleaning and maintenance the house, the hosts left for us some tasty pastries :) Dear Giannis and Eva, we enjoyed the stay at the villa so much. You are doing great! Thank you very much! :) We just love Haroupia Home. This is definitely the best accomodation we had in Greece so far. We felt like in home and like in paradise!❤️ We hope to come again some day.
