The modernisation of the building captures its history. The view of the valley from the breakfast terrace was uplifting! A beautiful place to stay.

Very welcoming owners and exceptional service provided at breakfast (sorry I can’t remember the gentleman’s name) but he catered to my every need and more and could not do enough for me and the breakfast supplied was outstanding. Travelling alone I felt very safe as entry in the evening is via a door entry code. Room was large with comfortable bed and pillows and the shower was huge and everything was immaculate! Lovely outdoor terrace over looking the mountains with 2 sunbeds. I definitely will stay here again!

The hotel was awesome. Inside and outside. Inside it was restaurated very beautifully. A really pleasure to stay in such a wonderfull location. With such a charming and friendly host. The hotel is situated perfectly in a small village with very nice restaurants. We enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant Botola. Only reason it why it is not a 10 is because of the breakfast. The breakfast is more then ok, we just miss eggs and fresh orange juice. But thats personal

Palazzo del Senatore is a wonderful, historic place to stay and is owned by a lovely couple whose ancestors are the original owners of the property. The palace is spotlessly clean and houses beautiful family antiques. The wife/owner Alessandra was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. We slept like kings in the comfortable bed, very quiet bedroom with blackout curtains. Breakfast was superb. We will be back!

Beautiful hotel and location. Our room was comfortable. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and it was lovely to have our breakfast on the terrace and be able to take it all in.

We had a beautiful room with fantastic views both of the beautiful fountain in centre of the square and the mountains behind. The proprietor of hotel was also very nice and made sure we were looked after we'll. Hopefully we can return again soon.

“Perfect accommodation in a beautiful, less touristy part of Italy”

We randomly selected this location as a halfway stop on our road trip from southern Puglia to Tuscany. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the accommodation, the village and the area were so beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were very friendly and the history of the Palazzo and their family is very interesting. The rooms are historic, but with all modern comforts including modern bathrooms and comfortable beds, desk, storage, small fridge, iron/board etc. Everything is impeccably clean. The breakfast terrace is beautifully furnished and the view over the mountain valley is spectacular. The village itself is very pretty and charming and we loved getting a drink at the bar next to the Palazzo Ducale in the old centre, just two minutes walk from the hotel. The locals were also very friendly, a couple of them pointing out historic details to us. They seemed quite proud of the history, including the remains of a Roman cistern. Highly recommend this place to those looking for the road less traveled. We definitely want to go back.
