The fire place space and decor were all gorgeous. In a beautiful location just outside of athlone while there is a bus i would make sure you only book if you have independent means of transportation. Cathy is an incredible host warm, informative and funny i would recommend any weary travellers stop with her and conor! Everything was very clean and there was even a cheeky visit from their cat!

I loved my stay at the Cosy Apartment! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. After I let them know about my work commitments and schedule, Connar would kindly light the stove in advance so that I returned each day to a beautifully warm and cosy space — so thoughtful! The apartment itself was the real highlight: very spacious, well-appointed and equipped with plenty of facilities (though there’s no dishwasher). It was also in a great locatation within easy driving distance of Athlone and other local sites such as Clonmacnoise. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous self contained 1 bedroom apartment with all mod cons beautifully restored. The woodburning stove was very cosy indeed. Owners lovely too. Nice, quiet location

The host cathy is so welcoming. She explained all about stove so well. It so warm comfortable. It's beautiful place to stay. So peaceful. Most of all the two beautiful dog's .they are so well behaved. We fell in love with them .thank you cathy again wonderful stay. Xx

The apartment is amazing, plenty of space, comfy bed and couches, kitchen equipped with whatever you could need and good television. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.

My girlfriend and I had a sudden change of plans and Cathy arranged everything for us to check-in one day earlier at 2am. It's nice to meet people like her and her husband in life. The place was very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful neighborhood and really close to Athlone. It was very easy to use the fire stove and they left us a guide with suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc. We loved it!
