Overview
This hotel has a location in the historic heart of Athens. It offers 4-star facilities, views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Athens Gate Hotel is situated 200 metres from the new Acropolis museum. It is opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus and on the doorstep of the historical Plaka area. There is a bar/restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, offering breathtaking views of the city. Breakfast can be taken in the roof restaurant, or ordered from room service. There is also a bar in the reception area serving coffees, drinks and light snacks all day. Rooms with Acropolis view are offered on request basis and upon availability. All units are equipped with 27-inch (68 cm) LCD flat-screen TV.

Very conveniently located for the Acropolis. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and clean. The views from the rooftop restaurant were exceptional. All the staff were lovely.

The location of this hotel is excellent- walking distance to plaka, acropolis and the Museum. The Key Tours office is also 2 min walk; very handy as we went on tours with them to Delphi and Meteora as well as Mycenae. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views of the Acropolis. The concierge staff happily kept our luggage securely whilst we were away on a 2 day tour.

The location is great for sightseeing, very close to the Acropolis, train station and shopping areas. Great breakfast included and spectacular view from the rooftop restaurant.

Excellent location close to the main tour desk company, the Acropolis and the Museum. Plaka is also within walking distance. The views of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant is amazing. The concierge staff securely kept our luggage whilst we were on a 2 day tour.
