“An oasis in central Athens”

SV Acropolis is an oasis in the gorgeous Koukaki neighborhood. It is generously equipped with everything you want and more. The bathrooms are very spacious, a luxury in Athens. The beds were very comfy and the air conditioning was top notch. The WiFi satisfied our teens! The courtyard and hot tub our afternoon haven after shopping and site seeing before heading out in the evenings. Andreas is very friendly and passionate about his neighborhood. He gave us many recommendations for places to eat. All were great. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

“Great place, great stay, great host”

This was our second stay at the Acropolis Residence. We were here two years ago. We were welcomed by the host, Andreas, as if we were old friends. As before he was great at giving us recommendations, suggestions and advice on everything from what to see, where to eat, transport and anything else we could think of. He did everything to make our stay in Athens a wonderful one. The apartment is delightful. We love the little garden, the hot tub, the artwork, the facilities, the cleanliness, the very comfortable beds, and the fantastic location. A lot of thought has gone into every aspect of this apartment and it really shows. Note, it is reached by a flight of stairs but Andreas carried our cases for us. The apartment is within walking distance of almost all the must see attractions. It was very quiet at night and felt very safe. The bed was really comfortable. This year we went to the National Archaeology Museum, which is a little farther away and is best visited by taxi. They have a fantastic collection of ancient art and artefacts from all over ancient Greece. On line booking seems the way to go, with timed tickets, yet we still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. For a great view of the Parthenon at night we went to the hotel almost opposite the apartment, bought a drink from the bar in the lobby, then headed up on the elevator to have our drinks on their rooftop. We had a fabulous view of a great swathe of the city too. This is without doubt the best place we have stayed in Athens by a long way. Our stay just wasn't long enough. Thank you Andreas.

“Everything you need!”

We had an incredible stay. Andreas was a wonderful host and the property surpassed our needs.

- The perfect location. So close from everything by feet! - Andreas was a lovely guest, giving lots of recommandations and always making sure we have everything we need. We also asked him to book us a driver from the airport to the apartment and that driver, Kostas was also very friendly. Thanks a lot again for the lovely stay.

Perfect host and location. Very comfortable accommodation fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host Andreas, could not have been more helpful providing us with lots of information on places to eat, local bakeries, shops and places to visit. He organised our transport to and from the airport also which was very helpful.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay in Athens! The accommodation was perfectly located, making it easy for us to explore the city's main attractions. Andreas was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He provided us with amazing tips for family-friendly activities and local dining options, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Traveling with young kids can be challenging, but the host was very accommodating to our needs, making us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend for families visiting Athens!

“A 5* stay!”

It’s hard to describe what a fantastic stay we had. From the very beginning Andreas was incredibly helpful sending us useful information before our stay and responding to any queries we had incredibly promptly. The property itself is in a fantastic neighbourhood with some delicious places to eat and drink only a short walk away. The property was also immaculate with everything you needed or wanted. Andreas was easily contactable for the duration of our stay and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. If all properties were run like Andreas it would transform the hospitality industry. We will be back and staying for much longer next time!

Andreas was an incredible host and thought of everything. He met us when we arrived, showed us around the house. He gave us many fantastic suggestions and helped us to book restaurants etc: The house also had every appliance, food, drinks all provided.. The location was also incredible. Could not recommend more.

Location was fab. Facilities were all as promised, the outdoor space with hot tub was a gorgeous space in the middle of Athens. Super comfy beds, wonderful linen, dressing.gowns for all. The welcome package (milk, OJ, wine, beer etc) was incredibly generous and really appreciated. Andreas, the owner, was fantastic in reaching out before we arrived in Athens, with lots of useful local info, and offered to book everything for us, including a couple of taxi rides. I would highly recommend this apartment, we were only sorry that we only had 2 nights there. It would be very easy to spend lot of time in this wonderful place, with loads to do in Athens. It's also in a wonderful neighbourhood full of good bars and restaurants, all very easy to walk to.

“A real gem of a place if you are looking to stay centrally or are a bit of a foodie.”

Location of the apartment, the design and quality of furnishings, the hospitality of the host were all exceptional. Andreas showed us around the property and gave a detailed list of restaurant recommendations, several of which we tried and they were all well worth the visit. He even booked us a table when we decided to try one of the rooftop restaurants and we had a fabulous view of the acropolis over dinner.

Attention to detail & hot tub was the icing on the cake … so nice to relax after a busy day seeing the monuments ! Beautiful apartment - everything you need is taken care of here. Andreas is the most gracious host… he really went above & beyond to make our stay so comfortable … he has made the apartment so lovely for our stay with little touches that go a long way! We can’t wait to come back & stay again. Thank you so much ! :)

The apartment was so beautiful and Andreas has truly thought of everything. We were travelling with our baby and he made things as easy as possible for us from the amenities in the apartment to his excellent recommendations for cafes and restaurants and things to do in the day. The location couldn’t have been better, only a couple of minutes walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum and lots of bakeries, cafes, restaurants and bars close by. It was lovely that Andreas took the time to talk to us about Athens and shared lots of tips that definitely improved our stay and it was very much appreciated that he was so accommodating with any questions we had throughout our stay. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat!

“Gorgeous high end & comfortable apartment”

Andreas was a fantastic host. He met us to give us the keys and gave us a map with lots of helpful tips. He explained how everything in the house worked and was on call and very responsive for any questions we might have over the whole stay. The jacuzzi was a welcome dip after a long hot day of sightseeing. The apartment is immaculate. Literally few mins walk away from the Acropolis, 5 mins walk to museum and lots of cafes and restaurants.
