Centrally located on the pedestrian street of Apostolou Pavlou, Phidias Hotel is just 250 metres from the Acropolis and 100 metres from Thision Metro Station. “Back again! Fantastic location for a stay on Athens.”
This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The location is great, completely central but quiet. It’s a 2 minute walk from Thissio station which is only five stops from Piraeus and €1.20! Our rooms overlooked the Acropolis, an amazing view at night.

“Great stay in Athens”
All of the staff we dealt with were very polite, kind, and helpful, from check in to check out (some previous reviews differed from this, our experience was not like that at all) The location could not have been any better, we had a view of the Acropolis from our balcony and there were dozens of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. All in all an excellent stay. Many thanks.

Comfortable hotel in a great location. The air conditioning worked well and the room was insulated from street noise outside.

We were 2 and at first the room given to us was extremely small. We were bumping into each other. That day did not go too we. Then they shifted us in a bigger room and that was more comfortable. My advice if it is 2 people to not to book small room it is too cramped and toilet too tiny. The bigger room was much better. Though a bit old especially the toilet fixtures. Location in 10/10. Right in the center and everything in walking access. Staff was ckngenial and helpful.

“Good place”
Hotel is located on a really nice street, in a safe area. Really close to the Acropolis and to the metro station. There are a lot of cafes nearby but noise wasn't an issue. Staff was nice. Room was big enough and the view was great.

Location: Excellent. The metro station (M1) is only a few minutes away, and iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis of Athens, Ancient Agora of Athens, and the Acropolis Museum are all within walking distance. The area is quiet and pedestrian-friendly. It’s also very close to Monastiraki Square, with plenty of lovely rooftop bars offering stunning illuminated views of the Acropolis at night. Breakfast: basic but enough options. Price: good. Friendly staff.

“Good property for couple or single person”
Our stay in Athens was pleasant overall and worked well for our trip. The biggest advantage is the location—very close to the iconic Acropolis of Athens, making sightseeing convenient. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and even a supermarket within walking distance, which is a great plus for tourists and families. The staff were very helpful, polite, and always ready to assist with any queries or support needed, which made the stay smooth and comfortable. Overall, a good property mainly because of its excellent location and supportive staff.

The location is nice and convenient. Room was small but clean and had all the items we requated. Rooms come with a nice sized balcony. We also liked the breakfast, ecent variety. The rooms are served with lift. We needed a late check out and they accomodated us.
