Centrally situated under the Acropolis in the historical quarter of Plaka and close to the new museum, Hostel Dioskouros features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a 24-hour front desk. Dioskouros has a mix of of ensuite units and Units with shared bathroom facilities. Dioskouros Hostel includes a garden where guests can relax and have breakfast. Staff at the reception can offer travel information and arrange transportation around mainland Greece. The cobbled streets of Plaka are full of Byzantine churches, ancient sites and tavernas. Syntagma Metro Station with links to the Airport and Piraeus Port is a 6-minute walk. Dioskouros’s guests have quick access to Glyfada Beach by public transport. .

“Great location, staff, breakfast, cleanliness and comfort!”
The staff - Christina, Nadia, Alex and others were super friendly and very helpful. Communication was excellent before and during our stay in answering our questions. We were able to check-in earlier than planned and had an earlier breakfast one morning to facilitate an early morning tour. There were also nice big lockers to hold our suitcase when we checked out on our last day but didn’t fly out until evening time. Highly recommend to others.

The location was amazing and really easy to get to sites. It only took us 6 minutes to walk to the acropolis. Staff were really friendly and looked out for our arrival on the first day. It was also handy to have lockers for after checking out.

The breakfast is terrible. They advertise it as if it were good, but the truth is that it doesn't even meet the bare minimum standards. Unfortunately, there's a lot of noise in the hallways, so your rest isn't entirely restful. On the other hand, when making a reservation, you have to be very careful not to make the mistake of booking a room with a shared bathroom if you don’t want one, since their ad is, in my opinion, somewhat misleading and prone to causing confusion.

“A little gem”
Location is great and within walking distance to attractions, metro, and shopping. Staff were excellent, helpful with good communication. Room was spotless and appreciated the notice regarding the cleaning of mattresses. Breakfast was good with good variety
