“We loved it!”

The host, Ioli, is super nice and makes you feel completely at home. She's always available to help and explain/give you some tips about the town. Our bags arrived a day later and she made us the huge favour of receiving them on our behalf or we would have lost the visit to the Acropole. The loft is very nice and cozy, while spacious and very clean. The outside area is very cool! The location is also very nice. We walked to the Acropole and, to go to the city centre, you have the bus, some streets down and the underground. There are several cafes, restaurants and some mini-markets nearby, as well as local shops.

Our very helpful and friendly host Ioli gave us a warm welcome with lots of useful information about local dining, shopping, what to see and was always there for us. A bottle of wine, bread, jam, cakes, mineral water and frukt was available in our room. A very quiet, large and comfortable appartment with very good bed. Nice, safe and quiet area close to lots of nice dining places and short walking to the most famous attractions. Very short taxi ride to the Pireaus cruise port. I stayed 2 days here. The house was very close Athens attractions. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It had anything you expected in a clean, cozy home. I really enjoyed relaxing in the garden because it was always in shade from the buildings surrounding it. I suggest this property quite alot. The house guest was quite lovely, she responded immediately to our requests, she suggested the best location for coffees, food, markets and more. She had prepared everything you needed for an energetic breakfast to start the day right for every day of our stay.

Really comfortable and characterful apartment, in a fantastic location. The host (Ioli) is the perfect combination of warm and accommodating, while also allowing her guests as much privacy as they require. The master bed in our apartment was huge and comfortable! The neighbourhood of Koukaki is close to all the action, but tucked away enough to find peace at a moment’s notice. Would happily stay here again.

“Beautiful property in the perfect location with outdoor space!”

The apartment is very well equipped and comfy. We especially enjoyed the outside space and the central location. The host is very kind and responsive. I can highly recommend this property - one of the best we have ever stayed at!

I know, it was already written in reviews before, but I'll write it again, because you can't stress this enough: Ioli is definitely the nicest, friendliest, best prepared and most accommodating hostess in all of Greece. She answers your questions or fulfills your wishes even before you've expressed them. The apartment itself is also simply wonderful: very spacious, lovingly furnished and equipped. You can feel like a well-off Athenian for a few days, leaving your chic loft for a short walk to the Acropolis, Plaka or Monastiraki (all within walking distance). Or just a few meters to climb Philopappou Hill with its perfect view of the Acropolis. Or maybe you just want to spend some time away from the tourist hustle and bustle in the Koukaki district among Greeks, with simply excellent bars, cafés and restaurants (Ioli will provide you with tips) -- at a completely different price-performance ratio than in Plaka or Monastiraki. It was our third time in Athens, but this time was the best, and Ioli and her apartment played a big part in that. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the host was exceptionally kind, helpful, and communicative. She made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We also really appreciated the bottle of wine and cold water waiting for us in the fridge — such a thoughtful touch! The location is absolutely perfect — we were able to explore the historic city center entirely on foot, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Having a garage or parking space right in front of the apartment was another big plus. One of the highlights was the mini guide the host provided with recommendations for nearby places to eat — thanks to it, we had some truly delicious meals at great prices! On the day of our departure, we were also allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment until the afternoon, which gave us extra time to see even more of Athens. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the apartment and the warm hospitality of our lovely host. Highly recommended!

Location was very convenient, and access to all required. Supermarket was a few minutes walk. Metro was 10 minute walk Restaurants 5-7 minute walk. Laundry wash and go was 5 minutes walk. Kitchen was very well stocked, and Ioli provided breakfast and some snacks (Thank you). TV was well programmed to keep kids and adults entertained (Netflix, Disney and live TV). Ioli was very helpful, well informed, and welcoming of any enquiries we had. Ioli endeavored to make our stay very comfortable, and we all enjoyed our interactions with Ioli.

The apartment was specious and clean, the garden super nice. The hosts were wonderful and helpful all the way through. They help you with the parking spot just right in front of the building. Also, plenty of useful info is provided on the spot.

Great location, there are supermarket, lots of choices of cafes, bakeries, bistros and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Excellent recommendations for food from landlord, delicious with super affordable price. The apartment is exactly as you see from the photos, Ioli is very sweet and helpful, fruits biscuit and a bottle of local dry white were offered as complimentary, you can definitely feel the hospitality😜 there is easy access to metro, 10mins walk, and to bus line 1/5/15 within 2 mins walk. can only recommend to stay here.

Ioli and Maria are very friendly hosts. Very responsive, approachable and helpful. There were drinks, fruits and cookies in the apartment as a welcome gift, and recommendations what to do and see in the neighborhood and in Athens in general. Everything was clean. The loft has everything you need, and the little back yard is beautiful. The Acropolis is a 10-15 min walk away.

Great location. Super safe with great metro connections (closest metro station is only 5 mins walk away). You can even walk to the Acropolis and Monastiraki, which we did many times as it is very pleasant. Ioli was amazing. Welcomed us in, showed us around the place and gave us loads of tips on what to see and where to eat. Ioli was available at any time if we needed, and even her mother welcomed us in. The place was really nice. Air conditioned, outside garden was very nice especially in the evening, and had everything we needed. There are friendly cats that come and go around the building and garden, Ioli even said she can keep them inside if anyone was allergic or scared.

“Walking to the Acropolis”

Ioli was an amazing host - helpful and with the best hospitality. The location was ideal for a base to see the best of Athens. The courtyard is lovely.

We enjoyed staying in Ioli's loft. The location was unreal! Walkalble to The Akropolis and other major attractions. Although metro and tram station is within 5 minute's walk. We appreacited the possibility of car parking in the street. There are lots of good and affordable restaurant and cafe nearby, as well as several bakery shops. The loft was spacious and comfortable fit my family of five. I loved my cafe or wine in the small garden. Ioli is very responsive and so kindness! She was waiting us at the door, helped us with our luggage and mainly she gave us a lot of information about Athens. We were so happy to have cold water prepared after long journey. And it is amazing to have basic foods for disposal (coffee, tea, fruits etc). Higly recommended for staying in Athens!

“A delightful experience in every way”

Arriving by metro to Singru Fix, we found the apartment easily using google maps. Ioli and her lovely mother Maria, met us at the door. They had great english and were so friendly and welcoming. They introduced us to their cats, who also arrived to welcome us. VERY cute for us and worth knowing for anyone with an allergy. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and generously supplied with fruit, tea/coffee, milk, local wine, cake, toast, biscuits, bottled and filtered water. The mezzanine bedroom area nicely furnished, had a really comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. There was an effective and fairly quiet overhead fan above the bed operated by remote. There was also air conditioning operated by remote. Good wifi, television with netflix, cooker, kettle, coffee machine ....everything you'd need. A lovely outdoor garden area with overhanging bougainvillia topped it all off perfectly. The location was within walking distance of the accropolos and the Plaka (old town) area. The metro is a 7 minute walk away. we arrived on a Friday when what seemed a wonderful street fruit market was clearing up for the day. Checkout was flexible and our genuinely lovely hosts did everything during our stay to accomodate our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay and were sorry it was only a weekend. “Stylish loft added extra flavour to our stay in Athenes”

The best place to stay in Athenes (we stayed for 7days). We were met by Ioly - the true Athenes lover - who created for visitors such a stylish appartment with everything you may need to feel comfortable. The Koukaki area is not very touristic but so close to the historical parts and here you'll find wonderful restaurants with really good food and house wine for really good prices:) We had a great time here and we'll definitelly recommend it to our closest friends :)
