The rooms and private onsen all have lovely views of the coast and the room is really huge and nice! The room attendant was really nice to us, even though there were language barriers and it was her first day at work. We still enjoyed our time staying in the hotel.

Private Onsen on the roof was amazing in the evening, and didn't cost us extra to use. Could always tell when one was in use based on the light switchboard at the elevators. The view was amazing for a sea view room, very spacious with tatami mat flooring.

10-15 min walk downhill from Atami station- very near beach front. Fantastic half-board dinner and breakfast. Roof top private onsens with beautiful sea views. Everything is perfect- a great value and unique onsen ryokan experience :)

“Wonderful traditional experience”
The staff in this family run hotel are really lovely and welcoming. We loved our whole experience here, with the property and the people surpassing our expectations. The traditional meals and private Onsens on the roof made for a really special experience. Despite the hotel being busy there was never a long wait for one of the private Onsens.

The rooftop onsen was a highlight of our whole trip. Major supermarket across the street. Most expensive hotel for us for our trip but my kids LOVED it.

“Beautiful onsen hotel in heart of Atami”
The traditional Japanese room with a sea view was enormous by Japanese standards. The room was absolutely stunning . Very clean and comfortable. I brought my two young children so the rooftop private onsen baths were the highlight of the hotel stay. Staff at reception were very friendly.

“Disappointing Value for the Price”
What I liked about the hotel was that it’s just a 12-minute walk from the station and within walking distance of the main sightseeing spots. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. The staff was also polite and very helpful.

The room was very spacious and well maintained. Loved the meals provided and especially the sashimi platter which was so fresh and offered a great variety of seafood. Staff was friendly and we loved the private rooftop onsen which allowed us to catch a memorable sunrise. The hotel is within manageable walking distance from the Atami train station and we can walk easily to the 2 main shopping streets. There is also a good sized supermarket just steps away. The must visit Kinomiya Shrine is also accessible by foot from the hotel. Would love to stay here again if we revisit.

The location was great with a good view. Loved the rooftop baths and overall atmosphere. A really nice design that you wouldn't get these days, peak Atami vibes.
