Overview
Located in the central area of Atami and a 15-minute walk from JR Atami Station, Guest House MARUYA offers capsule rooms fitted with Japanese futon-bedding. Guests can take a few minutes' walk to soak in the nearby hot springs or a 10-minute drive to visit the Atami Castle. JR Shinyokohama Station can be reached with a 50-minute ride on the shinkansen (bullet train). Haneda Airport is a 2-hour drive away from the property. There is a shared kitchen and lounge, where guests can socialise and relax. Washing machines and towel rentals are available at a surcharge. Each room at MARUYA Guest House comes with a power outlet and clothes hangers. Bathroom facilities are shared with other guests. Meals are not provided at the property; however, there are several dining options nearby.

“Good base to explore Izu.”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived on a very very rainy day and they helped me with my shoes with scrap paper to soak up the water and a mini-fan to air dry. The place is super comfy. There's lots to eat in the area. I used the location as a launch point to visit different places in the Izu peninsula, and that worked great.

“A simple, yet very cosy and nice place to stay, with different cabins to choose from, lovely staff.”
Nice atmosphere, kitchen with self-service, breakfast is simple and tasty and you can buy fish across the street and grill it. All equipped with tools to freshly grind and brew your coffee. Super friendly and very nice staff. You get recommendations for the area. Loved it. Great team, thank you.

“Cheap, nice, and close to the beach !”

Clean and comfy hostel. Close to central Atami with plenty of great shops and restaurants around. Very quiet at night especially for a dorm.

“Maryu guest house”
The staff were lovely and helpful. The shower was great with full shampoo conditioner and shower gel and there were plenty of toilet and sink facilities

“Good value and comfortable stay”
- The capsule double room is affordable but still spacious enough for two people. - The bed is comfortable. - The breakfast with DIY grilled fish is a good way to experience the traditional Japanese style breakfast, though you need to pay additional money on the fish and also the breakfast set is a bit too simple. - There are big lockers to put luggage in.

“Most uncomfortable stay”
The only thing I liked about the place was the entrance and the shower which is strong.
