“Ideal accommodation on Elephantine Island”
This place is a real issue on Elephantine Island -- modern, spacious, extremely clean and well-run, with good air-conditioning, strong Internet, an onsite restaurant with good food, and a beautiful location amidst the village life of Elephantine. It's great value for money. Only five minutes' walk from the ferry. There's an economical laundry service, and they can also arrange tours to local sites, as far afield as Abu Simbel.

I liked the location. Very quiet and pleasant. Away from the hustle of mainland Egypt. A nice garden and view from the balcony. Fresh mangoes from the garden. My room was clean and the bathroom modern.

“Great guesthouse.”
Mango is the perfect place to stay in Aswan. It is very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, shower has good pressure and hot water. It's location is great only a short walk to the ferry, but but very quiet. We had a bag breakfast one day, and breakfast in the hotel the other. Both were excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, Elephantine Island is so nice and quiet compared to Aswan.

Absolutely no remarks to be made. This place is lovely and right in the centre ! Ferry over is only 15egp during the day. It felt safe, clean and quiet.

“I spent 3 nights there and enjoyed it.”
Very nice small hotel in Aswan, recommended by Lonely Planet. Clean, modern, AC, no elevator, friendly staff. Important to know Elephantine Island, a UNESCO site, is a small island with NO roads and NO motorized vehicles. Sandy walking paths and carry your own luggage. Ferry to the island takes just 2 or 3 minutes, operates 24/7.

“Elephantine island is charming, the guest house feels like a little oasis”
Breakfast is homemade bread, with egg and fig jam. If you eat at the guest house you get falafel as well and fresh mango juice. I don’t eat egg, so they obliged me with extra falafel. Another morning they got us breakfast ready to go

We had a lovely stay here the location is easy to find and staying on the island is very relaxing. The garden and roof terrace in the guesthouse are lovely as well as the staff. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

The apartment was truly comfortable, quite smartly and practically decorated with high quality materials.We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and our balcony with the trees right in front and the calmness.In addition, the staff were quite friendly and hospitable.

A nice sanctuary on elephantine island. The room was nice and clean with a good hot shower. The staff can arrange a breakfast box for you if you're going to Abu Simbel early in the morning. A tasty breakfast with a friendly chef.
