“Fabulous Nubian-style hotel”
The hotel is very beautiful. It was like being in a Nubian fairy tale. It offers beautiful views of the Nile. The whole hotel is like in the picture. However, there is a lot of audibility in the rooms. If the neighbors are noisy, it will be difficult for you to fall asleep. But it's quiet here most of the day. And you can spend hours watching the Nile and the passing boats. The breakfast is delicious, although monotonous. The restaurant also prepares very tasty dishes, however, their choice is small. But you will have enough for a few days of stay so that you don't get bored with food. Excellent staff who quickly solves your problems, prepares food quickly. And in general they are kind people. You can also book trips to Abu Simbel or other places of interest. In general, the impressions are the most positive!

The best place to stay in order to visit Philae Temple early in the morning. Hospitality and food is superb. Very clean room! Fantastic atmosphere! Highly recommended!

The location is unique being on an island on the lake. The views are nice and it is very convenient to go to the Philae temple. The people are also very nice.

Out of the croud of the city this place is actually on little island (don't worry you always have someone to take you and bring you by boat) just next to the amazing temple of Philae. The Old nubian guest house is really a beautiful place where really kind people are working. We enjoyed our staying (we even cut our visit programs just to enjoy the place). I definitely recommend this place and the restaurant (the food was really nice too).

“The absolute best place to stay in Philae!”
This place is like a dream. The perfect place to stay in Aswan. Incredible location, beautifully set. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the unique Nubian style. Amazing food and entertainment. I rented the whole hotel for my group and we absolutely loved it. I will be using the Old Nubian for all future trips tours to Aswan without hesitation!
