Upstairs seating was a lovely place to relax and hist Mohammed was very helpful in organising trips and spending time with is. Also loved how it was an authentic design. Would definitely stay again 👍

Mohammed was so friendly and helpful, he made us so welcome. The roof terrace and view of the Nile were amazing. He organised a felucca for us which was a family run boat. 😊

The operator, Mr M. Abouda is an excellent host. He keeps a very tight ship. He is always responsive to requests, maintenance, or inquiries. And he's always able to resolve issues on the fly. The room was absolutely spotless. Everything worked and whenever there was an issue, he resolved it immediately.

Spotlessly clean room and amazingly comfortable bed. Friendly host serving a tasty breakfast (especially the ful) on a lovely rooftop with great views. Good location close to the ferry landing, a good bar (Bob Marley) and a decent restuatant (King Jamaica). Very quiet and peaceful.

The host was increadibly friendly and service oriented. The location is traditional, not luxurious but very clean and has what you need and specially the greatest rooftop for sunny breakfasts!

All aspects of the accommodation were outstanding. The cleanliness, the assistance with anything you could need & the breakfast were all first class.

We loved our stay at Nuba Tod Abouda. To start off, Mohamed really went out of his way to make our stay a great one. He sent his son to pick us up when we arrived late, gave us a warm welcome and helped us with restaurant tips and arranging a trip on the Nile. The rooms in the guesthouse are simple, clean and comfortable. The rooftop is amazing - both for breakfast and just relaxing. Good location on the island, close to the public ferry and restaurants. You can feel that this is a family who really want you to enjoy your stay - and we enjoyed every minute of it. If we ever come back to the Elephantine island we will stay with Mohamed for sure. Thank you!

Mohammed was very attentive, very responsive to messages prior to booking, really helpful with ferry arrangements and local recommendations. His guided tour of the local village was good and im glad I didnt attempt it on my own. Was a great way to start my Egyptian holiday

Very nice Nubian mood and a beautiful view to the river from the top floor. The Elephantine island is a must see in Aswan, and although we were having some doubts before we get there the boat services to get across are 24/7, cheap and reliable, like every 10 minutes or so. Really appreciated the quiet of the place, especially after having spent time in busy cities. The room was sparkling clean, and Abouda is an amazing host, very chill and helpful. We highly recommend the boat tour around the islands and the Nubian village that he offers, good prices for an unforgettable trip in Nile.

Very friendly host helped us get a ferry early in the morning, the hotel has a great view on the rooftop.

I had an amazing experience staying here—the room was spotlessly clean, and the host is truly dependable. They went above and beyond to assist with everything I needed, including booking a Nile sailboat ride, arranging a private car trip to Abu Simbel, and even providing airport transfers. Their help made my trip so much smoother, and their hospitality was outstanding. One small tip for future guests: it’s best to contact the host in advance to clarify how to get from the ferry port to the accommodation. Google Maps navigation isn’t entirely accurate for this route, but the host’s guidance ensures you won’t get lost.

Location and layout is fabulous. It’s character filled in the best location on Elephantine Island. The private boat that picks you up is the best, and Mo Abouda and the team are so fabulous and welcoming.
