Amazing homestay. Beautiful people. Great breakfast served. Overall, the island here works on a different vibration. Come with open-mindedness and humility, and you will experience the warmth of the Nubian people here.

Taking the ferry to the island is absolutely worth it—it’s a great way to escape the noise of Aswan. The hotel is very close to the ferry station, which makes getting there easy. We chose a room with a view of the Nile, which I highly recommend. The host was very helpful, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The rooftop terrace is awesome! Rooms are spacious and clean. Enough towels provided. Very close to the ferry so well connected to the centre of Aswan yet quiet location on Elephantine island.

It’s a bit of a shock when you land in the island. Dirt paths and all the buildings look run down but once you get past that you get great views of the Nile from the decks. All the restaurants I tried there the food was exceptional. King Jamaica, Kana Kato and Aziza. Makani on the mainland was also great. The owners of the hotel were extremely helpful organising trips and making sure you are ok. Rooms are basic but good value for money. Really enjoyed my time there

Not expensive. Ok choice if going to bed late and waking early. Very authentic village feel.

Great location just few steps from the ferry. Best choice to stay at Elefantina island when you are in Aswan, Visit the teples and the nilometer very close to the house. it is like to stay in a village in the middle of the Aswan. Very friendly owner and the staff. Thank you one more for the loundry and the apples :-)

Wonderful location, just too steps from the ferry. Very helpful owner Amira. She organised our pick up from the airport, private boat to the other side at 4 in the morning to get our car to Abu Simbel, she organised us laundry service. The place is very quiet, no mass of tourists. It doesn't offer meals, but offers tea and coffee. It has wonderful balcony and sun deck with a small kitchen and refrigerator that you can use, so you can make your own breakfast, tea or other meals. Just few steps away is the ancient pyramid and temple of Khnum complex and we were the only ones there on the gorgeous sunset.

Nice room with great river views from communal dining area. Also right next to the ferry, so incredibly convenient, especially if you have a lot of luggage

The location, the terrace, people. Just cross the river by public ferry (15EGP) and step into the hotel.

Amira was extremely solicitous and helpful. She arranged good trips at reasonable price with quality transportation (car, driver). Her availability was exceptional. The place is suitable for less demanding tourists who are willing to accept less comfort and worn, scratched furniture, doors and amenities.

Everything was perfect and good value for money. From the clean facilities to the kitchen and the comfortable beds it was definitely one of the best stays. The ease of access from the port which is literally 100 meters away and takes 2 mins to walk was a key highlight. Additionally, the owner Amira helped from the get go on how to come, helped arranged the tours at best prices and even was so kind to give more tips and tricks on restaurants. 1000/10 for my stay here at Nuba Dool! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice view of the Nile River. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect location, very close to the ferry. The staff was very friendly. Will miss this place.

“Lovely hosts in a nice quiet location”

Really lovely hosts who made us feel looked after. We organised a driver to Abu Simbel with them for a good price which was easy to do. The room is a good size, and the ferry across the Nile is 1 minute walk away even with luggage. It is much quieter than staying on the other side. Would happily stay again.

The owner was extremely kind and accommodated a flexible check-out time when my husband developed a fever and needed to rest longer in the room.

Well located, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, host was awesome, very helpful with booking cars and tours to fit our needs.
