Tamer, the main responsible person, was really helpful and friendly. Also the staff working in the facility were so polite. They really did their best to make us feel comfortable: from recommandation over Restaurants, organizing our transportation, being really flexible to our plannings - we were really satisfied! We can especially recommand to try the food offered in the Hotel. It is locally made and has a really good quality 😊

Its so peaceful and calm - literally de-stress zone and we really felt like we were on vacation. The staff was really nice, genuinely helpful - the manager was very kind throughout our stay and even gave us late check-out since our flight was quite late into night. We felt very safe staying at this property! There is no WiFi in the rooms - just at the general dining area but that adds on to the beauty of staying away from phone and focusing on nature! I spoke to the manager and they have some big plans for the hotel (infinity pool and shisha lounge) and honestly I want to come back in few years just to stay here after the developments.

Noprea and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and far exceeded our expectations! Everything about the place was magic and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Tucked away on a peaceful island in the reservoir, you couldn’t find a better place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and Nubian lifestyle. On top of that the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable and have everything you could possibly need, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the whole place exceedingly good value for money - we could have stayed forever. All of the staff were wonderful, especially Tamer, who was extremely informative and helpful throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to come back! If you are coming to Aswan make sure to stay here, you will not regret it!

It's been a delight to escape from busy Cairo into this oasis of tranquility. Setting over onto the island via boot is the first treat, the island-view of sunrise the second and the warm hearted reception the third treat of this very special place.

In short everything is excellent! Location- 30 minute boat ride to an island over The Nile. Complimentary boat service for pickup & drop. In the way there is The Phillae temple also. Rooms are basic but very good. Foods are excellent Complimentary breakfast The manager is super helpful! The designing of the property is so picturesque.

On arrival I was concerned about the boat trip over, the dock is very small and down a dirt track, but the manager Tamar assured me that if we say the hotel the correct boat will be there, and it was. The journey is about 15mins and glorious. With philae temple and rock formations along the way. We received a warm welcome and we chose to have a downstairs room. There are mosquitos but didn’t suffer too badly and no WiFi which can be good and bad. We had a lovely meal provided by the hotel for a small price on the terrace. There is no alcohol in mostly all hotels, which is also good and bad! Tamar runs everything and had be conserving with me before the trip about transport to Abu simbel, which was arranged for approx £30 pp. be prepared for a long bumpy ride, but well worth it. The rooms are really rustic with good beds and linen. Hairdryer on request. Plenty of hot water in an open style shower. It’s so peaceful there and the views are beautiful. The staff cannot do enough for you and breakfast included in the stay and also breakfast bag for the trip. Boats across are all calculated at the end of the stay, but does not amount to much. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for rustic, family feel , to get away from the modern hustle and bustle and chill with Tamar and friends!

“Heavenly views, delicious food & fantastic people”

This place is so special. My husband and I loved everything: the incredible views from our balcony, the wonderful service and logistical support offered by the management and staff, and the outstanding food. Everything is done in a way that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a friend staying with warm, welcoming family. It was so refreshing and honestly we preferred it to places we have stayed for double or triple the price. We plan to be back again and again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Noprea Boutique Hotel, and i wish i could have stayed longer. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures, offering a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you're looking for a place to enjoy silence, fresh air and beautiful sky, i highly recommend you this hotel. The location is fantastic, situated near the Nile, and the staff is truly exceptional. I'm so happy to have this chance to visit Tamer who is a genuine Egyptian soul who took care of everything, from arranging a ferry transportation to recommending wonderful places to visit. “Truly Unforgettable Stay at Noprea Hotel”

We recently stayed at Noprea Hotel as a family of six, including an elderly mother and three children aged 6, 12, and 14. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel manager, Tamer, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and memorable. He meticulously arranged excursions around the island and to Abu Simbel, organising permits, transportation, and connecting us with a knowledgeable local guide. His warmth and thoughtfulness stood out, from providing a box of delicious pastries for our final evening to preparing a breakfast box filled with treats for our early 6 a.m. checkout. Tamer even stayed in touch via WhatsApp to ensure we were well looked after during our tours, showing genuine care for our comfort. Tamer introduced us to Mohammed, a local guide whose kindness and expertise left a lasting impression. Mohammed’s care for our elderly mother was truly heartwarming—she is still praying for him! His insights into Aswan enriched our journey and created lifelong memories. Mustafa, our boatman, was another gem. He treated our mother with such gentle care, assisting her on and off the boat with patience and a warm smile. His genuine hospitality and the serene boat rides were highlights of our trip. Amir, another staff member, took us to explore the Nubian village and its shops, sharing fascinating stories and cultural insights that made the experience unforgettable. Uncle Ahmed, who served us our meals, greeted us with a kind smile and uplifting words. The food, freshly prepared by talented Nubian women in the kitchen, was simply the best we had during our time in Aswan. The Meammar Rice and onion and meat tagine were outstanding, while the children loved the kofta and freshly made pasta sauce. Every meal felt like it was cooked with love and care. Noprea Hotel is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of genuine hospitality, warmth, and cultural richness. We can't wait to return inshaAllah

“Totally worth it”

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel so much. Best hotel to relax, enjoy the nile. Heissa island is nice as well, there are some restaurants there, so you do not need to leave the island if you want. To go to aswan, you need to take a boat from the hotel that takes around 15 mins and then take a car. Our experience in the hotel was so nice, Tamer the manager was always there for us, always checking on us and gave us recommendations. He was also so flexible with checkin and check out. The transportation from and to the hotel was so smooth, even though the hotel is on an island. Tamer always made sure the boat is available for us. Thank you Tamer for making our stay so special. The whole staff are very nice, breakfast was delicious, rooms are clean. So i would definitely come back again.

The hotel was on an island away from the city hustle and it was calm and quite place. It had a really nice view and the staff were really friendly.

“A relaxed getaway on Philae island”

A beautiful getaway on the Philae Island. The location itself makes the whole difference. Such a relaxed spot after the hustle and bustle of Cairo or Downtown Aswan. The transportation to and from the island is included in the price for you arrival and return but if you wanna take trips inbetween (Philae temple is definitely a must-see), they will organize a boat for you for fixed prices. There is no problem with late or early arrival, they accommodate to your needs. Breakfast is very tasty and with a beautiful view, if you want dinner they can prepare it for you but they need a heads up to be able to gather the supplies (that is the case for all the island retreats around). There is AC in the room. We had almost the whole place to ourselves in our two-Night stay so it was even more relaxed. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and are always around, as is the manager - whenever you need something, he is there to help you out without pushing you into taking organised/planned trips to sightseeing spots etc (that is otherwise the case in most Egyptian hotels where they can be kind of pushy). We planned to stay only for one night and decided to extend our stay cause we liked it so much. Do not miss out on Aswan! The quietness and view of this place are what makes it so special. We would wanna go again.

Tamer was excellent, we spent the night there after being 2 days in Cairo, and it was the best possible scenario because we wanted to have a peaceful night. “A unique and meaningful experience”

The breathtaking location is marred by an excellent treatment by Tamar and his colleagues, who are like a family and would make you feel part of it during your stay. They will try to help you with any request you might have during your stay. You do not even need to leave the island as their chef and staff can provide you with an outstanding Nubian dinner (as vegetarians they even adapt to our dietary requirements). Their generous Egyptian breakfast facing the Nile will surely give you the strength you need for exploring neighbour Philae temple or just to enjoy the afternoon in their comfortable common area.

Staying on the islands around Philae is a wonderful idea. The property has great potential, thanks to its location. The old man taking care of the restaurant is lovely and cares a lot about the guests.

Wonderful view, after a tiring day it is refreshing to take the boat trip to the hotel. The view from the balcony is superb. The staff is very friendly and the food was very delicious.
