“An okay option near the ferry”

A couple of minutes' walk to the ferry pier is the main plus. There is a shared veranda with a panoramic view. Friendly staff. We checked out at 6:00 AM, and they kindly prepared lunch boxes for us instead of breakfast. The cleanliness and comfort are moderate — you certainly won't be thrilled, but considering the price, it's quite acceptable. The location is quiet.

“Perfect”

Stayed on the rooftop studio with amazing views of the Nile and Aswan city from the communal roof terrace. Started the day with a coffee on the terrace and finished the day with a beer there. Breakfast is delicious and served on the terrace. Our rooms were domed and colourful, reflecting its Nubian theme. The kitchen is more a food preparation area as there are no cooking facilities, ideal for light meals and snacks. There is a large refrigerator kettle, work surface and washing up sink. Plenty of hot water. Friendly staff who speak reasonable English, google translate filled in any gaps. The ferry to the island is cheap and frequent, the property is within minutes of the ferry terminal.

Perfectly located near the ferry boat dock. Very big apartment with 2 bedrooms and big bathroom. Adequate kitchen, although we barely used it. Very friendly staff.

Lovely comfortable apartment with ample space. Very clean and well-cared for. Breakfast was delicious, and the terrace had beautiful views and was a lovely place to relax. Wifi was strong and worked perfectly for my online meetings. We felt well looked after. I highly recommend!

The apartment is very well located, well equipped, and clean. It has a superb terrace with a beautiful view. The staff is very kind, and the breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

We stayed in Robab guest house for 3 nights. I think the location is quite good if you don’t mind staying in elephantine island. Public ferry is very cheap (15pound per person) and it is close to the bank. Only 1min away but unpaved uphill. If you are a light traveller and want to save some money, It can be a good option. The room we stayed has three bedrooms and kitchen. It has enough space and it was clean. The breakfast was good. There were always tameya and omelet with bread & tea but everyday is the same. The staff is very responsive in WhatsApp. They will help you when you need a help and arrange a boat

“Peaceful place !”

Nice and peaceful location with lovely view from the terrace. We had a big 2 rooms apartment and one small double room. The rooms are clean and the staff and owners very kind. Very nice breakfast served on the terrace. Beds are comfortable

“A great stay with friendly and helpful hosts.”

The location was great and the Nubian hosts very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic and clean. The breakfasts (included) were great and very prompt each day. A highlight was that we had 2 bedrooms on the top floor which also has the adjacent rooftop terrace and that is a highlight, as it looks out over the island and the Nile River towards Aswan. The host family is very helpful in organising local tours or water taxis.

“Nile view and peacefulness”

I stayed here for 3 nights. Doha was great to arrange breakfast, provide travel info, arrange a private boat to St Simeon Monastery and also a breakfast box for the early morning tour. Great Nile river view and very quiet in the middle of the river on the island. It was convenient to go anywhere in Aswan. The Nubian museum is 15 min walk, the Isis Philae temple is 20 min by car/Tukutuku.

“Memorable .”

We spent 2 nights here . Wish we spent more . So sad to leave this place ! The room was exactly like the pictures . Spacious and clean , has all what you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom has hot water as well . The view from the Roof is breathtaking and so peaceful. We had an amazing breakfast there as well as dinner that we asked the host to prepare it for us. Just one word FANTASTIC and so tasty. The host ( Doha ) was taking care of us , helped us do a boat tour and arranged Abu simble trip for us ; When we had to leave at 3:40 am for it , she even packed breakfast for us to take away. Honestly such a sweet and thoughtful gesture . We felt very welcomed and they treated us like guests not like strangers. One important thing is that the hosts were very honest too ! I can’t recommend this place enough . - the location is also very convenient: 5 min by car from train station and then 5 min max by the public ferry boat.

“A lovely stay.”

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was very spacious for our family and we had a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was nice. Only a quick boat ride from Aswan to Elephantine Island. A good experience to go there.

The guesthouse is a 2 min walk away from the ferry. The owner is friendly and helpful, he even let us stay till late in the afternoon for no extra charge because our bus was at 6pm. Breakfast was good.

A comfortable place with kind staff, comfortable rooms, and an excellent shower (not a guarantee in Egyptian budget accommodation!) The WiFi is very good (also not a guarantee.) The balcony is amazing, with beautiful views of the city, and a perfect view of the sunrise if you’re planning an early wake-up to go to Abu Simbel.

“Best stay in all of Eygpt”

Everything! I was looked after so so well. Early trip to Abu Simbel, they arranged a boat for me to cross the river, without asking the gave me a packed breakfast and made me lunch, a really good lunch. On the day of check out I had a late night train and I was allowed to stay until the train arrived. This place is the best I've been at in Eygpt! Highly recommend! Thank you all so much!

“Great Stay in Aswan”

The staff are awesome, always willing to help, they set up an early breakfast for me on days I went out early and were always ready to assist with logistics. The location is epic. The Vibe is great.

Cozy accommodation with a very kind family. Doha and Mohammad went the extra mile for us to enjoy our stay. Local decor and breakfast on an amazing roof terrace did the rest. Highly recommendable!
