The place was amazing it’s very quiet place to stay and The view was beautiful you can see the botanical garden,The owner was very kind and He brings you from the ferry by his boat for free and help you get back by the same boat if you will visit Aswan you should stay at this place thanks

“Not mosquito -proof”
The owner was very helpful, providing information and willing to make tour bookings for reasonable prices on request. He even booked my tour to Abu Simbel for 20% less than all the other passengers on my bus. The apartment has all the facilities you could ask for in a budget apartment, including a washing machine.

“Peaceful and authentic island”
The apartment is in the elephantine island, where there are no motor vehicles, so it was the quietest lodgement we had in the noisy Egypt. Really peaceful, it is the rooster who wakes you up, not the continuous horns. There is a small ferry to reach the east bank that costs 5 EGP. Abdul came to meet us at the ferry, and helped us with the luggage on the way to the apartment. He is really kind, and he can help you arrange tours, a felucca day, or a Nile cruise in his yatch. Do not hesitate to contact him in advance! He will provide fair prices and excellent service. The apartment itself is nothing fancy, just functional, which is what we look for: spacious, comfortable beds, AC, fridge, hot water and big bathroom. We didn't cook there, we went to the Bob Marley restaurant nearby for breakfast and dinner with awesome views

This accomodation difinitely satisfied my needs. I wanted to have an apartment on my own (to avoid big concentration of people during Covid-19 times) and I wanted to stay in a central but quiet place. And Elephantina Sobek has this as it is on the Elephantine Island which is 2 minutes away by public ferry boat from the very center of the Aswan Corniche. So I could live the lively but noisy center of Aswan in the day time, and be sure to have my quietness to sleep at night. Abdu was very helpful and organized for me all the touristic trips I wanted to take part of, and always with fair prices (hard to find if you move alone around these egyptian touristic areas).
