Master was enthusiastic. Upon arrival, we noticed a discrepancy between the map location and the actual location, which almost led to a misunderstanding. It wasn't until I called the host that his phone displayed my number. The host was very friendly and helped me book the sunset sail and the boat delivery service at around 5 am the next morning. The boatman also helped my son find the watch that had fallen off the boat and delivered it to the hotel. We are very grateful to them.

Perfect location on Elephantine Island directly at the ferry. Easy access to the city, souk, and Nubian Museum. Cleanliness & Comfort: Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Food: Excellent breakfast. Lunch and dinner available on a terrace overlooking the Nile. Staff: Friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. They can arrange any tours you want and make you feel well taken care of.

I had such a lovely time at El-amin Guest House! The location is absolutely beautiful — right by the Nile with peaceful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything felt very welcoming. El-amin and his family were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They arranged transportation and made sure I had everything I needed, even small details. The home-cooked meals were delicious, especially breakfast by the river. This place feels authentic and full of heart — a perfect spot to experience Nubian hospitality and enjoy Aswan in a calm, beautiful setting. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Aswan.

The hotel's was extremely dirty, and the owner, Amin, was very stingy. We ordered breakfast for two, but he gave us enough for one. We paid a high price for subpar food. When we asked to stay in the room if it was empty, after long and exhausting negotiations where we appealed to his mercy because we were two women in the intense heat, he finally agreed to let us stay until 6 PM. We paid double and triple the normal prices for excursions, boat rides, transfers, breakfast, and even bottled water, which was supposed to cost 6 EGP but we paid 30 EGP. They are thieves under the guise of hospitality. Avoid them at all costs—they are merciless.

Amazing location. Super cheap. Staff very friendly. Good room, AC working. Some mosquitoes, as it is by the river, so I would suggest leaving the AC on during the day. Wi-Fi failed often but it was acceptable. Small bathroom but with warm water. Great view from the room. They arranje tours If you want.

“A nice spot in Aswan”

From wh,en I arrived, the staff were all looking after me , and especially El-amin himself. He advised me and booked tours for me.. They served dinner each night on the solid patio looking out on the Nile . It was just next to the jetty for 5 minute ferry from Elephantine Island to Aswan. Elephantine Island is an attraction in itself, and you can stay in it. It has no cars and no paving , so interesting walks.

This is a great guest house. Situated right on the bank of the Nile. Amin the owner is super helpful and can arrange any trip you want. The room was very clean.

My son and I felt very comfortable at El-amin's Guesthouse. El-amin is very friendly and accommodating. He also helped us organize excursions. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the Nile. We also highly recommend the roof terrace, where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We can highly recommend Khalid's accommodation.
