The host, Mr. David, was very helpful he assisted with excursions to Philae Temple and Abu Simbel Temple, and also arranged a private car for our transfer to Luxor, with visits to the Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna temples along the way, all for a very good value!!!

As mentioned by the host its not * hostel, so you get what you pay for. But the host and the staff was so kind and helpful, David helped me with all necessary things and suggested trips and transportation.

Very good value for money, perfect for one night stay, which is what we needed before starting our cruise. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. Room is basic but there’s all you need for a quick stay and perfect for budget travelers.

“My solo review”
I stayed in a private room, still I found every room to be clean, well maintained and all household conveniences available. The Wifi is always working and the place was completely safe and secure. Importantly the staff are amazing, helpful, professional and go above and beyond. Moreover, the place is in a great location, not too far from the centre and other islands and there is plenty of public transport available to access. Local shops all close by and with all necessities available. Deffo will go again.

Great local hostel. Around 5 minutes walk to the main road to get a shared minivan to Aswan. Local fruit/vegetable and supermarkets within walking distance David and his family are super friendly and welcoming. No hassle. A credit to Egypt. Book all your tours with David as he doesn’t scam you. Free water and tea. Breakfast and dinner is provided too.
