It faces the Noble Tombs and Beach Again Kan Park, making the whole area incredibly peaceful. Both the room balconies and the rooftop offer stunning views of the Nile, creating the perfect vacation atmosphere. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean. The host is kind, simple and very thoughtful. Every evening he asks in advance about the next morning’s breakfast time. The room rate is only around 200 RMB and includes a tasty, filling breakfast for two—excellent value for money. You can also hang laundry on the balcony. Thanks to the strong wind and dry air, plus strong afternoon sun, clothes dry completely in just two to three hours, saving on laundry costs. The roads on Elephantine Island can be tricky: muddy paths, sandy ground, and very dark at night. But the guesthouse has its own private pier. Just arrange with the host in advance, and you can take a boat directly to the opposite bank to catch taxis to the airport or bus station—no trouble at all even with heavy luggage. There are also many lovely local restaurants within a few minutes’ walk, offering great views and tasty local food. For a calm, relaxing getaway in Aswan, Elephantine Island and Abazido make an ideal base. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind.

As a beautiful surprise, he even upgraded me to a larger room with a better view for the same price — such a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. The calmness of the terrace is unforgettable. Abazido feels like an oasis, located in one of the most peaceful areas of Aswan. I would highly recommend extending your stay to fully enjoy the serenity of the place and spend a few days without leaving the island. After the fast-paced routine of visiting temples and museums, which can become quite tiring, Abazido is the perfect place to slow down, relax, and truly disconnect from everything. Also Ahmad is super helpful and will be always available to help or suggest activities.

It's very nice to stay in elephnatine island and abazido it's a rapresentative place. you have a wanderfull view from the terrace(and in my case also from my room). The place is safe and quiet and theowner very helpfull and supply you with a lot of advice. It's not the ritz but you have a lot of charater and friendship

The view of the nile river. There is a kettle in the room, and you can prepare coffee. Also, the owner is very helpful. He can organise trips and boats. The room and the whole place were very clean. Breakfast was bid and tasty. Only problem was that the pillow was too long and uncomfortable.

The owner Ahmed, his cousin and co-owner Mohammed, and Ahmed‘s wife and family were all very welcoming to me. The rooms were simple but very clean and very comfortable with good air conditioning and fan and a beautiful view of the Nile from a small balcony. The breakfast were tasty and served on the terrace in the morning cooked by Ahmed’s wife. Ahmed is a genuine, honest and caring man who really wants to build and share his love of his Nubian people on the Elephantine Island; its history and culture.

Ahmed was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed. Location was perfect and views were amazing!

I absolutely loved my time at AbaZido Guest House! All of the staff are attentive and friendly. They are very warm people and I was well looked after, more than I was expecting. The owner made sure I had transportation to and from the island and that I had all I needed. They coordinated airport transportation as well. The food was amazing and the portions are large. I ate all my meals in Aswan there. There wasn't any need to take a boat to go the city for food when there was high quality food there. I REALLY ate well! The guest house has a family vibe. It is calm and serene and has an amazing view. It's a great place for someone looking to unwind and relaxing I loved everything about here! Please come if you want a quiet stay, away from the noise and busy Aswan. It requires a ferry and walk to come in and out of the island. But you’ll have a beautiful view from your bedroom and breakfast! The owner is a dear 🥰 They arrange for me all tours around Aswan and Luxor. I highly recommend totally satisfied
