“Friendly stay.”
Had a large apartment suite next to the hotel entrance with kitchen and living room. It was comfortable, but it was more than we needed! Great value! Breakfasts were nice. Wi-Fi signal good. Lots of restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk. We felt safe in the area! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They willingly helped with confirming onward bus travel and helped set up a Bolt account for me to order taxis. (Bolt taxis are cheap and plentiful, and are the best way to get around Asuncion)

“Overpriced and outdated guesthouse with a bad service and nice garden and pool area”

“Decent value for money”
The hotel was close to where I needed to be. It is relatively simple. Breakfast choices: fruit, bread, jams/honey/cheese and ham, eggs, tea, coffee, some cakes, the special local bread (chipas) and other options. I didn't order anything apart from what was offered. My bed was fine and I slept well. There was a TV in the room which I didn't use and a blow dryer in the bathroom. There was also a pool. I stayed 2 nights and it was decent value for money. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to and from the airport.

“Totally worth it.”
I chose this hotel precisely because of its location. There are plenty of little coffee shops, restaurants, and bars in this area. All are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is amicable, helpful, and pleasant!
