Popi collected us from the port and drove us up into the old town to the room. She brought a delicious breakfast to us each morning and was most helpful about beaches and restaurants. I would recommend her rooms highly.

Great location, perched between the windmills and the castle, offers easy access to both the main Chora stores and restaurants as well as the monumental castle and the bars higher up in the Chora. Popi, the studios owner and manager, is very hospitable, offers a ride to and from the ferry, a really nice breakfast, and is an excellent communicator overall providing nice tips and suggestions for newcomers

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the chora and close to the castle. The rooms are very cosy and spacious, ours had a balcony with a great view! Popi is an excellent host and made sure we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

Absurd hospitality!! I cannot explain how amazing this experience was!! we were provided with a lift to the apartment (amazing) breakfast everyday which is basically also your packed lunch for the day (amazing) and humour and warmth from our host. (amazing) The apartment was a small piece of history ! (amazing) we loved it!!! the new Astybus service on the island makes getting around really simple without a car. we adored walking to the castle and exploring it everyday.

Where do I start? Our spotless apartment was equipped with everything. Roomy and cool, with a large dining table, seating area, good wifi for working and a super well equipped kitchen that opened to a pretty patio where we enjoyed eating the amazing breakfasts which were delivered every morning. Upstairs the bedroom was cool and quiet with a/c which wasn’t always necessary. We used the upstairs bathroom which had a fixed shower head above and great drainage. Best of all is the wonderful hospitality and kindness of our host. She made our stay feel like a holiday, taking care of us in the best possible way.

“Best Place to stay so far in Greece Astypalea”

Super Host and hospitality. The Best Place i ve stayed so far. Breakfast, close to castle, close to old town, 20 min beach walking distance. Got picked up at port and she drove me back at 5:30 am. Speaks very good english, ... Could pay with card and she brought self baked stuff. Better than any Hotel or any place i ve stayed so far in Greece. Price top. Shower Gel stuff and all the goodies were there too. Ευχαριστώ🙏🏻

Popi was amazing - friendly, kind, generous, breakfast was thoughtfully made. The studio was brilliant, surprisingly lots of space for the small floorplan. Comfy bed. Lots of equipment for cooking. Great location central to Astypalea and the castle.

Fantastic location on the south west side of the castle. The view from the balcony was simply wonderful. It was a traditional Cycladic house with a double stone bed in the bedroom. Upstairs there was a fully equipped kitchen, with all the necessities, while it also functioned as a lounge-hall. The bedroom was huge at the bottom of the house and it was cool at night without having to use the air conditioner. The breakfast was very good prepared by our hostess. Popi a warm and smiling person, which in itself is a huge plus on the holiday, as she wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Being there is must...and we must go again!

My stay here was amazing! Popi was such an amazing host, so friendly and generous. Popi picked us up from the port and drove us up to the rooms which she really didn't have to do. Each morning a fresh breakfast was delivered to the door. I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful Popi was. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the photos don't do it justice. Location was great, short walk to the square which has lots of cute restaurants and the bus stop. You can also walk to the Venetian castle up the hill to watch the sunset. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend Popi Studios!

The kindness of the host - Mrs Popi was very helpful , and I really appreciate that. She really took the extra mile , she waited for me at the port , the room was very clean and comfortable, and she had for me a freshly baked banana cake . I will be back to this beautiful 🦋 island and will chose this property again.
