Awesome accommodation in the best location in the Chora. The owners were so helpful and even arranged for a lovely man to drop us off at beaches and pick us up later.

The host waited for me in the ferry port and took me with my bags to the apartment. :) Super friendly and the location - probably, with the best view in the island. Nice terrace overlooking the center and the windmills, castle and beach. A couple of great bars just 3 min walking distance. Apartment is super clean and spacious. Too bad that I stayed only for one night.

“Blissful.”

My apartment was a very cute, traditional place with an upstairs double bed space with a low ceiling (you can’t stand up in these places, but then you only go there to sleep, so it’s not a problem) and a very comfortable bed. It was dark and quiet, just a very short work from the windmills and the hosts were lovely. I came home one day to find a homemade cheese pie had been left for me. Older people or those with mobility challenges would struggle with the stairs, so bear that in mind, but if you don’t have those challenges it’s just fine.

Thank you very much for your hospitality! The owners are very welcoming, and the apartments are cozy and clean. The view from the terrace is amazing. We recommend everyone to visit!

“The best place on Astypalia”

You couldn't do better on this lovely island than a stay in Argyros' and Andonis' studios. They are wonderful hosts. And the stay is beautiful - big studios, stunning views from the private terraces, perfect location on the island, etc.

The views from the terrace were amazing. The location is very quiet and extremely safe, and the owners of the property are extremely kind and helpful. We were very sad to leave after spending a week at Lefkanthemo and this wonderful island.

The location is perfect and the access to the centre where the restaurants and windmills are is less than a five minute walk. The view is spectacular of the city and the castle and The windmills. If your energetic within walking distance there is the beach. It was nice to have a fully functioning kitchen.

Amazing view, great location (2-3 mins walk to the main square of Astypalaia) and very kind hosts. The room was super clean and the host offered us a drive from and to the port. Once again, amazing view! Do not hesitate to stay at Lefkanthemo, you will miss out.

“Not been to Astypalea ? Why not ?”

It was our first visit to Astypalea. Wow, what a super discovery. We arrived at night on the boat from Kos. The first view of the castle (all lit up) is truly spectacular. We were met at the port and taken by car up to the Lefkanthemo apartments. What followed were some of the most enjoyable days on a Greek island that we have ever experienced. The whole family looked after us without being intrusive and we really appreciated the advice and assistance they gave. The apartments are less than a 30 minute walk from so many beautiful sights. There is the castle, the harbour, the beach at Livadi, the windmill on the hill. We walked the whitewashed streets and ate really well in some incredibly good value tavernas which, like the supermarkets and bakery were close by. The town is on a hill so you probably get more out of a visit if you are reasonably mobile but if you need to, there is the Astybus (look it up online) which you can use to get around. Finally - what a view from the terrace of the apartment. Stunning.

Great location. It is near the center of astypalaia town. Also, the host was very kind. Even our ferry arrived late at night 10 PM, he came to pick us up. We will absolutely visit again.

“Amazing experience”

Awesome hostess. She was really flexible with check-in/out. The studio itself was above expectations : amazing location (you could view Chora from the balcony), clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it and visit it again.

Great location in chora. Fantastic host. Really everything you could hope for including the best view when you wake up in the morning. The island was real treat and we ate at some fantastic tavernas and restaurants

Great location, with fantastic views over Chora. The hosts were very welcoming, picked us up very early from the airport, and as the room was available allowed us to check in a few hours before official check in. Parking available on the streets near by. Also only a 20 minute walk down to one of the many beaches and close to the bus stop. Only a few minutes walk into Chora and it's many restaurants..

The hosts were lovely and kind. They picked us up from the port so we didn't have to climb the steep hill with our bags. The apartment was amazing, spacious and with an incredible view.

Probably the best place you will find in Astypalea. Clean studio with a stunning view and comfortable beds located in the main settlement of the island. The hosts, Argyro and Antonis, were extremely helpful. They gave us many recommendations on what to see on the island. Antonis came to pick us up from the port. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
