First time in Astypalea and this was a great location near the port and restaurants. Eleni and family so very kind and helpful, with treats of home made cake. Tea, coffee and creams provided along with packets of toasts, butter and jams for a breakfast on the balcony overlooking Chora and the magnificent castle. Loved it!

“Charming with an amazing view”

The room was airy, very clean, well furnished, and if you are lucky to get the little corner one, the view on the whole town is the best-breathtaking! The traditional house structure has a lot of charm. Eleni bakes her famous treats for you to find in your room almost every day, and at the arrival we had a complimentary bottle of wine, a heart warming gesture which was most appreciated and which was perfect to be enjoyed on the balcony. The daily cleaning and refurbishing of the room was impeccable.

A great property that has everything you need for a perfect stay. . The host, Eleni, is first class , always there to help or provide any information needed. The daily treat left in the room in the form of home baked cake or something from the local bakery was a joy!

Mrs. Evaggelia, the owner and the soul of the dolphin hotel in Astypalea. With smile he welcomed me and with smile he said me goodbye. Her kindness and smile is the definition of Greek hospitality. “Perfect stay!”

Amazing! We had a lovely time! Everything was perfect and the property exceeded our expectations. Mrs Eleni is lovely and she provided us with all sort of goodies on arrival (which we could have for breakfast or as a snack, and she even provided wine and nuts). We had a new home baked surprise everyday. The room and view was lovely, as shown in the pictures for the studio. We had asked whether we had to bring our beach towels with us, and Mrs Eleni offered to provide as with beach towels too!

“Beautiful accommodation”

The location is excellent, very close to the lovely beach and tavernas etc. The walk up the hill is fine , only took me 5 minutes and there are cheap taxis too. The studio was amazing, very clean, lovely decor. Hosts are super, leaving little food gifts.

Eleni has been fantastic, with her kindness and availability. We have also met her mother and her grandmother that was very happy to share with us her old experiences with the Italians when she was young! The structure was comfortable and very much clean...very often we find special cakes made for us by Eleni!!! I really suggest the dolphin studios for a fantastic holiday.
