“Great stay in Bask country”
Location is the best! Quite far from others, deep in the mountains - calm, great view from the window, clean and well equipped rooms, kitchen with all required equipment, basic breakfast is available. No shops, no restaurants nor bars - so be ready with food/drinks in advance. Convenient and safe parking in the yard. Highly recommendable for recharge.

“Location, location location”
Stunning location, 7k out of the local village of Esteasu. A huge converted farmhouse with views to die for. The village min-market has everything you would need if self catering. We stocked up at a larger supermarket on the way. Allow travel time from motorways, it's off the beaten track but well worth the journey. No English spoken by host, his wife had some, none was expected. We got by with AI. Very helpful and friendly. 6-7 rooms, all share communal kitchen and sitting area. Upstairs even pool and table football. The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever seen. Everything you could wish for. Two fridge freezers, a freezer, toasting grill, microwave, oven, dishwasher. Dozens and dozens of plates, bowls mugs, glassware....One slight criticism would be that there is only one 3 ring induction hob. It could be tricky if lots of people want to cook at once. At an extra cost a breakfast of coffee, tea, cocoa, crostini, sweet cakes and jams is provided. Outside there is a picnic bench and an enclosed BBQ room, again superbly equipped. Maybe a bit more seating outside would be good? We used this as a base to do wonderful walking in the surrounding region. Very good/park and ride at the hospital in San Sebastian took the strain off driving and parking in the city. Free surface car parks like Illunbe, Miramón, and Igara

“Fantastic”
Very friendly staff, property is very clean and excellent condition, breakfast was prepared for time I wanted. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is very modern and spacious. Location is very remote, so I wasn't prepared that it is that much up the hills, but seround views have been amazing . The only way to get there is by car, parking is for few cars and lost of spece for everyone. If I return in that area again, I will definitely stay there one more time

Amazing location in the country side, but still close enough to restaurants and supermarkets. We had a large room with a cot for our baby, and they even put a diaper pail in the (spacious) bathroom. Large shared kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and they offer a nice small breakfast with coffee and toast. From the house it's possible to do nice hikes, as it's in a beautiful area.

“Lovely chalet up in the hills above San Sebastian”
Fantastic location, especially for hiking & cycling. The place itself is fantastic. A very traditional building in delightful surroundings. Rooms in excellent condition and recently renovated to a high standard. You can cook your own food or drive to the village (about 10 minutes). Breakfast was tostadas, jam, croissant and coffee and was just what we needed. Good value too.

“Amazing place in a good position to visit the area with a car”
Amazing rooms, common areas and surrounding nature. The road to reach is hilly but in very good conditions. Everything super clean and new. San Sebastian can be reached in less than 40 minutes. A place to definitely come back :)

Probably the best place to stay in the area if you have a car and enjoy nature. Beautiful place and views (the photos here definitely don't do it justice), great value for money and last but not least, great hosts. I will remember fondly and would love to come back if I travel through the area again.

The picture on Booking.com doesn't make it justice. The building is an old farm house (I guess) beautifully restored. It is located in a wonderful scenery.

The views from the property are absolutely amazing. The building has been restored extremely well, it looks lovely inside. There is a shared kitchen which is very big and very well appointed with plenty of equipment. The host is lovely.
