“Good value and nice staff.”

The staff was kind enough to check me in at 0800 early in the morning. Much appreciated. There is stove in the kitchen. It is simple with a kettle, a microwave and kitchenwares. It is fine as I only stayed a night. Toilets and showers are always clean and dry. The room is a bit packed but the bed is comfortable with curtain installed. A bit far from city but it is pretty normal at Astana.

Very cheap price hostel

I’m truly impressed with this place! The host is super adorable and very enthusiastic. The location is right in the city center, near to supermarket and some local food store The hostel is very clean, quiet and cozy. There is female dormitory, this is truly a fantastic place to stay for solo female travelers – safe, comfortable, and well-managed. I’d love to come back if I have the chance!

“Overbooking”

Cheap, well equipped, there is drinking water in the kitchen. Bus stop, grocery store and restaurants nearby.

Quaint. Ground floor of a gated apartment block. 8 bunks in a dorm. You want bunk 7, by the door, if you're tall like me. Bunk 2 was too short first night. 7 doesn't have a shelf unlike 2. 2 is by the window and gets hot due to the radiator or cold when window is open. No blanket needed in either bed. Sheet not long enough and the blanket takes up a lot of space in the locker. The mattress could be replaced it's a bit gone. Curtains on bunks Guests weren't backpackers and at least one staying months (you can tell long termers when you see shirts on the clothes rack). You can see why there are 'locals' as there's a discount for a week's stay which is too long for Backpackers sightseeing. First decent loo paper in a hostel in the Stans. Only a face towel given - which was fine as they're limited space to leave it to dry. With only a microwave you have to be creative to cook but it was ok...albeit it temperamental to start Place was clean. Despite being given the tour on the loos/shower I was shouted at/door knocked on the next day as appar it's woman's (there was a woman's face on the door but it was more like charactacture art - I translated a message into Russian to show him and used the one male loo afterwards. There is no dedicated male toilet. At least the shower is separate (unlike women's). All Russian speakers in the hostel and despite the female dorm appearing full online there were only ever two women appearing from room 2 (I was briefly shown Room 1's toilet to use - I was in room 3). Key and decent size locker was ok. TV in the common area was only in Russian and generally a nuisance as someone would have a Spanish or Breaking Bad episode on and it was distracting. They'd pause it too for ages whilst one bloke spent two hours (getting high?! Black pupils) in the shower. Common room seating wasn't the most comfortable - maybe trying to recreate the Central Park sofa.

It’s a very small hostel, but very nice people and you have everything you need. The lady didn’t speak English, but she was very patient and nice to show me everything. Good value for money.

“It is worth another”

Full marks. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and attentive. She meticulously explained the hostel's amenities and told me to contact her directly with any questions. The hostel itself was excellent, but I particularly appreciated two things: the bedside power strips didn't require a converter, and the spacious common living area. I also want to commend the woman who cleaned the common living area the next morning; she was very attentive and beautiful.

My stay at the hostel was truly enjoyable, thanks to its excellent location, which made it easy to explore the city while being in a peaceful area. The facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere was surprisingly quiet perfect for resting after a day of adventures.

I stayed at this place for one night in June 2025. The facility was decent and located in a nice neighborhood, though it's a bit far from the city center. The washroom was a little small and could have been cleaner. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory.
