The location is idyllic. It means a walk up a lot of steps but it's worth it. Breakfast on the patio looking at the mountains on a sunny morning - perfect. And Sandesh and his family were very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is located in such a location from where you get the best view of annapurna south and machapuchre. It is managed and run by a family where they do all the chores. All the family members are extremely friendly. Food is delicious. Bonfire available on request. The hotel is very clean and has all the basic amenities one needs. Ghandruk is such a place where you will not get materialistic luxury rather you will get the luxury of nature. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a place to stay. If you get a room towards the upper floor, get ready for a phenomenal view without the need to step outside.

The staff at the Hill Top Lodge were fabulous, especially Sandesh who is the Manager (family co-owner) and his wife and extended family. The dining room staff, the cleaning staff, and others working in the hotel were extremely helpful and understanding of our needs, and always listened attentively to any feedback which we provided to them. In fact, during our stay at this hotel, the dining staff listened carefully to some feedback I gave them about some of the items on their menu which we had eaten, and the next day those issues had been solved. Now that is the height of customer service, and because of all this, we will be recommending the Hill Top Lodge to our friends and others who wish to visit Ghandruk (the starting point of our ABC trek). 10 out of 10.

The best place to stay in Ghandruk. The hosts - Sandesh and his family are the warmest people one could ask for. The hospitality is unmatchable and the location is exceptional. Couldn't have asked for a better view. The hosts made sure we were comfortable throughout and took care of us as their own family. Would definitely recommend Hill top Lodge to anyone visiting Ghandruk.
