Room with own bathroom in family house. Good, peaceful location 5 min on foot away from city wall. Good breakfast with variety of fresh local food and drinks. High level of hospitality. Great and safe parking spot.

Very convenient for Assisi, 10 mins walk. Staff were very nice and helpful. Swimming pool was very welcome in the heat.

너무 다정한 호스트 때문에 마음이 몽글몽글해졌어요. My heart was softened by the very kind host. It was a little cold at night because there was no heater, but I was fine with extra blankets. It was so quiet that I could sleep well. The parking lot is spacious and there is no difficulty at all to see the town on foot. There were many kinds of fruit, bread, and jam along with the coffee she made herself in the morning, and the fried egg and juice were so delicious. I think my sweet girl will be remembered for a long time. Thank you~😉

Brilliant location to visit Assisi. Owners very friendly even though we don’t speak Italian. Breakfast was good with great variety. Had a quick swim in the pool.

“Road trip”

What an exceptional find this villa was. Excellent location with free parking. Pool and courtyard covered seated areas were a bonus after hot day in beautiful Assisi. Breakfast was plentiful....cakes, pastries, cheese pancakes, ham and cheese etc. Host was so accommodating and thoughtful as we arrived earlier than anticipated she readied our room for us so we could drop our luggage and go explore. Highly recommend Villa Bigio.

“A great place to stay when visiting wonderful Assisi”

This is a really lovely place to stay as a family when visiting wonderful Assisi. The people are very welcoming and accommodating, the traditional Italian breakfast is large and delicious (especially the cakes), and the pool superb. It’s a 10 minute walk uphill from the Assisi Link bus stop at Piazza Matteoti. It’s a 25 minute walk to Basilica San Francesco through the centre of beautiful Assisi and a 1 hour walk uphill to Eremo della Carceri (best done early before it gets hot)

Great location, just outside Assisi (about 15 mins walk) surrounded by beautiful countryside. Lovely pool and seating areas all around the house. Very calm atmosphere and really helpful staff, who met all of my needs, even though they spoke only Italian and I didn't ;)

The Villa and gardens are beautiful. Views are fantastic, seating areas and pool excellent. Ingrid, the owner, and her family were so friendly and hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were all home cooked, good selection and hot food freshly cooked, and varied each of the 5 days we were there.
