We were three families here for a wedding a mile or so away at Tenuta San Masseo and staying in all 4 apartments - we loved the pool and that we could eat together on the covered terrace. The apartments were spacious and clean, the aircon much appreciated and the kitchens well-enough equipped although we weren't really cooking, and it was great to have olive oil from his own trees. The distant view of Assisi from the garden and terrace was gorgeous. We used the little supermarket in the village a lot, (closed on Sundays), and the bar, and the pizza place for good takeaway pizzas. The nearby church is definitely worth a visit to see the 13th century stone hut inside it, where St Francis wrote the Rule of St Francis. Nazareno was a delightfully welcoming, attentive and helpful host - it was useful to have some Italian! Some things to be aware of: you have to remember not to lock yourself out of your apartment as the front door locks when you close it. The bedroom in Terrace apartment has no door and anyone sleeping on the sofabed in the kitchen/diner has to go past the bedroom to get to the bathroom.

This location was good for exploring Assisi (if you have a car). There were enough places to eat nearby. It's good to scope out the parking spots before you head to town.

The apartment we stayed looked exactly like on the photos. We booked a downstairrs apartment. The bedroom was specious as well as the kitchen/dining area. There is convenient and secure parking next to building. The house is located near the main roads so there is easy access to the main towns in Umbria. There is a big swimming pool with outdoor furnitures and a big beautiful garden around the pool and the whole property. There is an undercover common area with plenty of tables and chairs overlooking the town of Assisi. There is a good small supermarket with all the necessary supplies.

After taking day trips coming back to the pool was excellent, and the view of Siena was an added bonus. On several occasions we were offered grapes, figs, and tomatoes from the garden.

“Great place for relax and starting point of sightseeing”

Perfect location-not far from Assisi, but you feel like at the countryside. Very quite. 2 nice houses with 4 apartments (all together). Very nice host. Big, clean apartment with AC. Nice garden and pool, which has never been crowded. Good wifi. I can really recommend this place for people, who want to relax and sightsee from the other side. A few minutes drive to the nearest exit of the motorway makes it easy. Many interesting towns and nature in one hour distance (Umbria, Tuscany, Lazio). Restaurants and supermarket in the neighbourhood.

I booked this as a gift for my parents and they were very satisfied. Accommodation was really beautiful, in a beautiful setting, near Assisi, qiet and peaceful. Kitchen was fully equipped. Communication with the owner was from the start smooth and easy. Thanks for everything❤

“Perfection”

Absolutely wonderful stay. The owner was fantastic and very helpful, the pool is gorgeous, the setting is amazing and the views are stunning. Couldn’t fault the stay. We had our two children with us and they loved it.
