Le Silve di Armenzano is located in an ancient building providing accommodation since the 10th century. The resort is nestled in the green valleys of Assisi, beyond Monte Subasio Natural Park. The property is just 13 km from Assisi, the home town of Saint Francis, and boasts the sober elegance of a Franciscan convent. An ideal fusion of ancient and modern styles, rustic and refined details, the rooms provide views on the surrounding nature, and are elegantly fitted with antique furniture. “Great place to relax and relax”
The location- it’s remote - at the end of a road where you hope there are cars coming from the other direction. But the location is fantastic- great views, sound of birds, good restaurant, nice rooms - not super luxurious but spacious, good bed and great view from private terrace. Great facilities (walk to the 2nd pool about 1km from main house), nice trails on own terrain. What stood out was the staff - front desk, restaurant, kitchen- all super friendly.

“Excellent accomodation and dining. If you want peace & quiet & country atmosphere this is the place.”
Lovely accomodation in the country away from hustle & bustle of towns. Great staff & the dining was an incredible experience with beautifully cooked local produce. Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Staff were incredibly enthusiastic, friendly and willing to help. We booked a fantastic cookery course and the receptionist acted as the interpreter for the chef, which really helped and was great fun. The organisation for the course was brilliant and cannot be faulted. The restaurant and service was first class and the food was delicious. The location and views were stunning.

One of the most beautiful places to stay at. The facilities are excellent and if you love nature, it is absolute heaven! The food is very special and present a very fine choice of local cuisine.

Amazing environment, great facilities , amazing and peaceful stay. Completely surrounded by nature. Great pools, amazing staff, super delicious food. Super pet friendly, very gentle staff and great price!

We loved the feeling of being in a beautiful remote countryside scene in a very holy place! One had the sense that all around there was a great natural peace full of wonderful surprises of wildlife, plants and herbs: quite simply stunning! The staff, especially Simeon, Julie and Eleanora as well as our lovely lady in the restaurant went over and above : coming out to find us as we got lost in a location unknown to us at midnight! I don’t know how to thank them enough, especially Simeon and Julie : we intend to return to thank you personally 🙏💖
