Featuring a garden and a terrace with views of the city, Hotel Umbra is a pleasant, small hotel set in a typical mediaeval street near the central Piazza del Comune, the heart of Assisi. “Great really enjoyed it. Reception very helpful.”
Location and room excellent. Breakfast was a bit of disapponited, especially that there was no toast machine and poor selection of bread , meat and cheeses.

“A home away from home 🏡”
It was very central, clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to my friends and if I return to Assisi I will stay there.👍

“Fantastic!”
Location is Excellent! Right just in the center and superó close to everything. The staff is Fantastic and superó kind and helpful, not to mention the breakfast!! Great value for money, this hotel should have 10 in Booking !

“A wonderful comfortable retreat in the heart of Assisi”
The hotel is wonderfully situated just off the main piazza in Assisi. It has superb views and beautiful areas to relax and enjoy the setting.

“A little jewel in the middle of a beautiful city.”
The hotel is like walking back in the past. If you want ultra modern then this is not the place for you. It’s charming and full of character. It has good WiFi, hot showers and a comfy bed. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly! There’s plenty to eat at breakfast and it is well organised. Brilliant location, you can walk to all the sites from the hotel. If you have mobility issues you can drop your luggage off right near the hotel. There’s also a lift in the hotel.

Charming Italian older style hotel with lots of character in a great location. Very nice room, beautiful view. We loved our stay.
