“Relaxing, comfortable and well located!”

Paulo was extremely communicative and accomodating and gave us great local recommendations to get the most out of our trip to Assisi! The room was cozy, clean and well equipped to make a great stay. The house was located close to Assisi, but out of the business of the city which was relaxing and quiet. We highly recommend Antica Fonte & Paulo on you trip to Assisi!

The communication before we arrived was excellent, from planning arrival tim to giving directions. Laura met us and her enthusiasm to make us happy was made for a great welcome. Anica Fonte is a hidden gem surrounded by greenery and nature. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee perfect. Laura recommend the restaurant that was 5 mins walk away and served authentic dishes of the region, no frills, totally genuine people who know their job. Will definitely visit Assisi again and would definitely choose to stay at Antica Fonte again 😀

Very nice apartment located 5min by car from Assissi. Amazing surroundings, close to Assissi but at the same time, far away from the noise. Very nice and helpful owner.

It exceeded our expectations! It was exactly what we expected: a peaceful place, a real Italian feel, fresh air and smells of the countryside. The cleanliness of the rooms and kitchen were so lovely. First evening staying we got access to cute barbeque place served by full barbeque stuff and spend priceless time surrounded by beautiful nature. Italian authentic restourant with the suprisely tasty local cousine was just few steps away, thanks to appartment owner for recommendations. Perfect location for star trip. Highly recommended if you want to feel the real Italian hospitality.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The hosts were so welcoming and extremely friendly. They were easy to contact and would offer to order taxis for us whenever we needed one. The room itself was spotless and extremely comfortable and the location is simply beautiful. I absolutely recommend staying!

This is a wonderful B&B providing charming, clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet, picturesque setting. We loved the terrace and beautiful outlook. Owner Paolo is a superb host, friendly, welcoming and attentive to any request and likewise Leonardo, who provided a delicious Italian breakfast (optional). Thank you both for making our stay in Assisi so pleasant and memorable.

“Amazing”

Super location, very close to Assisi, brief walk through the forest to get to the main church, very quiet, beautiful. Breakfast was for a small additional charge, but was very good, with wonderful coffee made to order and delivered to our room. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast with small sandwiches, various pastries, and cheese. The owner greeted us at check in and interacted with us throughout our stay. He was wonderful… very friendly, hospitable, and very kind, one of the few Italians who did not hate Americans.

“Beautiful gardens, quaint apartment, great location!”

This was a lovely and quaint location jut outside of Assisi. We had a rental car and only stayed for one night but would have stayed longer if we could have. There is a beautiful hiking path that leads up to the historic part of Assisi which took my husband about 45 minutes. We were able to drive into town in about 5-10 minutes. The price for our small family apartment was very reasonable - we had two bedrooms which accommodated our two teens in one room and my husband and myself in another. The inside of the apartment is a bit dated and rustic, but I felt like it added to the charm and sense of being in the Italian countryside. We weren't looking for 5 star hotel accommodations. The gardens are gorgeous! The weather was cold and rainy on the night we were there, so we weren't able to enjoy sitting out on the patio but we would have taken better advantage of that if we had more time there and better weather. There is a washing machine inside the apartment but you need to air dry the clothes (which is common in Europe), so think about that in terms of timing if you choose to do laundry. I was happy with the access to laundry based on the nature of our trip. Paolo, the host, is very welcoming and accommodating. We did not have many needs in the time we were there but he was warm and friendly. Breakfast was not included but was available if we chose to arrange it - we did not have breakfast. Overall, I would return - the property is quiet, we felt safe and we were able to park our car on the property. I just wish the weather was better so we could enjoy it more. I think Paolo would have gone out of his way to get us the sun if he was able to! :)

“Excellent service, location and beautiful room”

The property was clean and new with beautiful gardens Our puppy was welcomed and, for who is traveling with pets, I would recommend this hotel. The owners were exceptionally courteous and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely go back and stay longer.

Paolo made us feel at home - he was so warm and welcoming! We loved our stay, it was so cozy and beautiful. The area around the property is stunning and we just couldn’t get enough of the views! Assisi was very accessible - we just walked 30 minutes up a beautiful trail to the village and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery around us. Grazie Paolo per tutto!

Our stay was great. Paolo gave us a very warm welcome! The place is beautiful and well located. There are restaurants nearby and it is also close so Assisi's main attractions. We highly recommend it.
