The overall vibe and atmosphere was amazing! The staff were very nice and helpful. We loved getting to wear the Yukata and feel fully welcomed within the culture! We also loved the option to have our private onsen to relax our minds and bodies. The dinner & breakfast buffet was exceptional! Lots of delicious flavours and options, definitely worth adding to our booking 😍 The place was also surrounded by the most beautiful views as there were many mountains around, lots of green spaces, even the air felt different(good)!

Great facilities from onsen , karaoke, table tennis, massage chairs. Buffet with wagyu beef and drinks was fun and good.

Onsen facilities. Very family friendly with extensive buffet for dinner and breakfast. Very conveniently situated for exploring Aso.

It was easy to find after our drive from Mt Aso and Daikanbo lookout. The option for available for private onsen was good. We waited only for a short while for the availability.

It was my second time in Yumeoi-so. It's a perfect place for relaxation. Onsen is great, food is superb, and the general atmosphere is very pleasant. It can be reached easily from central Aso by bus. I will visit again.

There are a lot of activities while staying there. We had karaoke after dinner and there are songs that are non-japanese as well. Dinner and breakfast are buffet style and have a wide range of selection.

Check in was straight forward. The place is a maze. It's like wings have been added on over the years with no planning. To get to our room, we had to take a lift, walk up a ramp, go down some stairs, go up some more stairs and make multiple turns along the way. It's kind of quaint. Probably not ideal in ana emergency though. We had a room with a private bath which was great. The dinner buffet was extensive and catered for all tastes and dietary issues. Beds and pillows were the most comfortable we've had anywhere in Japan. 10/10 for that.

“Good fun and food”

Loved the private onsen we could reserve for our family to use. Had so much fun with the free karaoke too! The buffet dinner and breakfast was great. Loved that you could choose a pretty yukata for both our kids too, not just for the adults.

Amazing and friendly staff - we were impressed that they can remember your room number handling your key back even if the staff is different. I would say the image does not do justice to how wonderful the place is. We book the Japanese style and for two people, the room was big, enough for your luggage. They have free coffee (Yume coffee), you can also have private bath ( highly recommend to try them out), karaoke booth, ping pong tables. Their morning buffet has lots of variety as well and it was delicious.
