Excellent accommodation and service. Many thanks to Mark and family for such a warm welcome. And for organising a picnic platter as we were arriving on Sunday with most places closed. Sorry, we only had one night there in our schedule.

Breakfast was good. Bedroom was lovely. Great bedding. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Delightfully furnished. Super clean. Bedroom had everything you would need - robes, hairdryer, tea, coffee, bottled water.

Beautiful historic and exceptionally well renovated property. Bedrooms spacious and beautifully designed. Situated in a picturesque medieval village with lovely walks. Restaurant was closed but went to an amazing restaurant nearby recommended by Mark.

Absolutely beautiful B&B in a stunning location. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat wave. We also enjoyed a delicious meal. We will visit again.

Manoir de la Basse-Cour is a little jem. It is so peaceful and tranquil with lots of lovely villages nearby. The host, Liase is wonderful and very friendly. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it.

“Beautiful property in a lovely village”

A beautiful property in a lovely quiet village, we all loved our stay. Our friends stayed in a twin room and my wife and I stayed in the superb double room on the first floor which is massive and has a nice huge bed, the tucked away location ensures a quiet and peaceful nights sleep. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast and the evening meals are superb, on our final night we dined outdoors which was lovely. Would highly recommend and will definately return.

“Beautiful Manoir, Stunning village and excellent hosts”

A wonderful stay in this beautiful and historic Manoir, lovingly restored by the owners and hosts. The attention to detail, amazing service and great food made this stay one of the best we have had in France, and we have been visiting for many decades. The village is stunning. The River is fast flowing, and we were able to sit and watch kingfishers flying across the water. It is so tranquil, and everything is beautifully maintained. The medieval church is lovely, and there many characterful and historic buildings. A photo opportunity at every turn! Staying at the Manoir was a privilege, with a sparkling, well heated pool, and great pool house, and lovely grounds to enjoy an evening drink from the Bar. The owners are warm and friendly and made our stay feel very special. It was a privilege to stay at their Manoir and to get to know them. We will definitely return.

We arrived and Liesa was so kind as to offer us an upgrade to one of the gites right next to the pool. It was lovely and we felt very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. All the staff members were very kind and the little cafe/bar is a nice place to hang out.
