“Getaway from it all and relax”

Beautiful apartment 10 minutes drive from Gjirokastër. Towels and bedding of excellent quality. The sound of the sheep and cows every morning,it really is a relaxing place to stay. We would thoroughly recommend it. A car is a necessity.

Very nice and spacious place with 3 seperate bedrooms. There's a large bathroom with a washing machine and hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, well-equipped kitchen, and air conditioning in every room—in short, everything you need. The terrace offers a beautiful view of Gjirokastër, and the location in a small village outside this historic city ensures peace and quiet. The host is incredibly kind and helpful—one of the best hosts of our travels. Thank you for the welcome bunch of homemade grapes in the fridge and the beautiful, fragrant roses in the vase!

“The perfect place to relax”

From the moment we walked in we felt at home. We got hopelessly lost, a 3.5 hour journey took us 7.5 hours (don't trust google maps!!). But when we got close (with 2% left on my phone so couldn't call) a lovely man called for us and we were met. If you want exciting night life, this is not the place for you. If, like us, you want to relax, really kick back and enjoy being surrounded by mountains, and appreciate the amazing hospitality of Albanian people, then you will love it here. The local history is also fascinating. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. 💖

We had a fantastic stay at the villa with our kids. The location in a quiet village close to nature made it very relaxing, and the children enjoyed exploring the surroundings. We really liked the peaceful countryside setting, just a short drive from Gjirokaster but far enough to feel like a true escape. The peaceful countryside setting was a perfect escape from the busy town, offering fresh air, quiet surroundings, and beautiful views of the mountains and nature. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We especially appreciated the tranquil atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after exploring the city. It felt more like visiting a home than just staying in a hotel. Just a note: all rooms were equipped with air conditioning, which wasn’t clear from the photos. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat close to Gjirokaster with an authentic countryside feel, Center Village Villa is a fantastic choice. We only stayed one night, but we’d happily come back for longer and with a bigger group.
