A lovely host who helped us with navigating the area like a local (also taught us how to make our own tagine!) Comfy room with access to a cute outdoor kitchen with all the essentials. The place is secluded so we had almost the whole beach for ourselves in mid September BUT not too far away from Asilah for sightseeing, shopping or a night out (basic needs shops are in walking distance too) CATS AND DOGS everywhere.

“Most Peaceful Stay in Morocco”
The house was gorgeous and incredibly peaceful. Just a road across the beach, and the town of Briyach is not too far out of Asilah. DeeDee is an exceptional host always doing the utmost to make Dar el Pirata feel like your home. If what you’re looking for is a down to earth, simple and relaxing stay in asilah, this home and its people in it are your best bet.

“Paradise right on the beach.”
This hostel is right in front of the beach and you can use bodyboards, surfboards etc free of charge from here. When I arrived there was work being done in the dorm I had booked, so the owner very kindly gave me a private room for the first 2 nights. The rooms are kept very clean and are very comfortable. Deedee, the owner is a wonderfully warm and friendly person is constantly making sure that everybody has what they need. There is tea and coffee and snacks around most times of the day.

“Brilliant, friendly. Over whelmed by the good vibe”
The owner of the hostel was there to personally show me around. Also she took the time to sit and drink tea with her guests to get to know them. The hostel is rustic and very charming. A great vibe from the moment I arrived. The staff could not do enough for you The food was amazing.. and coffee and tea was always available. Bonus the beach is only 100 meters away. I very highly recommend coming to stay if like me you are a wondering traveler...

Dalila ( the owner ) is a wonderful person, charismatic and very friendly I have been traveling a lot in Morocco but never experienced a fantastic experience like at " Dar el pirada " The atmosphere is very unique and I have met wonderful guests as well while I was there I will definitely come back to see the adorable Dalila Thank you so very much for your hospitality

“Enchanting Beach paradise in Morroco”
The first moment I got off at the train station Dede was incredible, my taxi driver only took me half way and just dumped me on the street. I gave Dede a call and she sent me the directions and checked in on me until I arrived! Once getting to der el pirata I felt at home, I only stayed one night but gosh I wish I could book a whole week! I was truly treated like family and I couldn’t have asked for a better place/host to spend my final days in Morocco.

“Good Vibes!”
The house is very cozy and located right in front of a beautiful beach. Great atmosphere, Didi was an amazing host and made me feel right at home. I booked 5 nights and ended up staying 8. Asilah is also very easy to reach by bus or taxi in a few minutes. Overall a great place to stay and I will definitely be back!
